Don't worry guys, I'm alive!I've been working on this piece for a bit now, its Lemmy from Motorhead!
I'm having a lot of fun with the skin tones in traditional art for the first time and really glad I tried to apply the things I learned in digital art to this!
Acrylic on canvas. Moustache hairs done using a single bristle brush... so tedious... so worth it.

excellent! Working with "traditional" or real materials is so much more rewarding. With your facility I would strongly urge you to stay with the traditional media. You are very talented and skilled.

I get scared a lot to work with traditional media because they cost so much money and I am a starving artist. I'm afraid to screw it up and waste the materials. That said, I think I painted over this canvas 3 times; thank god for acrylic paint.

yes! I love acrylic. I can paint in oil, and some of my artists friends keep telling me to switch, but i find acrylic so much more versitile...

Yeah, you can do so much more with acrylic... and it dries a lot faster. I have done stuff with oil in the past, and they've been good paintings, its just messy and annoying... and I'm allergic to oil paint. That really doesn't help anything.
