Using thin cables from his fingertips he can connect to and 'hack' into organic things such as plants, animals, and, to an extent, people. Usually he would use it to slow the reaction time of the person or creature he is connected to, creating a 'lag' from recognition and reaction.

Min Joon has always wanted to be someone great, someone people liked to watch, the center of attention, and while his quirk was not exactly the type to emphasize that it lead him to a find a way he might achieve such things. He is known to be quick to pick up on things and likes to challenge himself mentally, thinking outside the box and tending to lose himself in whatever he was occupied with. Once he starts on something he hates getting distracted or having to step away from it, often able to dedicate several hours at a time to tasks and things he is interested in. More often than not, he finds he enjoys things more what he can get told he's doing something that is enjoyed, which is why he was so drawn to things such as streaming and social media platforms.

He does not like losing. As someone who likes to be looked up to, he isn't very fond of being one-uped or beaten, especially publicly and can find himself being rather pushy when it comes to competitions. When he feels someone is talking down to him or they just rub him the wrong way he tends to get snarky and even passive aggressively write about them in his blog. Born in the rather rustic feeling city of Charleston to somewhat old fashioned parents, Min Joon had an almost boring childhood full of a lot of playing outdoors and grew up learning both Korean and English. His family was not very into electronics and did not keep much in the ways of entertainment and media around the house, often encouraging their son to enjoy things like puzzles and yutnori with friends instead. In the terms of quirks and discovery, he was a late bloomer and often worried he did not inherit a quirk from his parents as it did not manifest until he was around the age of six. He was with his friends and was watching them play on their handheld gaming system and asked for a turn only to have them say no, so like kids do he kept asking and tried to reach for it, causing the other child to raise it above their head and out of reach. For the first time, his quirk activated as he tried to grab the device, the thin cables from his fingers shooting out to connect to, surprisingly, his friend. It was like he was flooded with information he didn't understand, and when his friend hastily pulled out the cables he was left in a bit of shock. Confused he and his friends went around trying to see what he could and couldn't connect to before he returned home to tell his family.

After that he had a bit of a hard time practicing or honing his quirk as he had very little in the ways of electronics and coding in his home and often had to go to friends to practice and learn, specifically learning how to properly read and understand the binary and coding he was seeing when connected to things. Occasionally he would get into trouble for trying out his quirk on the other students in his class which his parents were told about, leading them to give him a small collection of potted plants when he was in late middle school to practice on. Min Joon dreamed of becoming a hero like many of his peers, talking about how he'd be able to one day help solve any case the city needed handled. But more often than not his power got overlooked in favor of much more flashy and useful quirks, and soon his natural fascination with the digital world and coding became more of an obsession and he started isolating himself to the online world, learning code and programming and beginning to give himself more of an online presence. Online, he was well liked. Online, his quirk was considered much cooler than other people told him in real life.

Throughout high school he started to begin taking programming classes during his weekends and summer breaks, and began testing out programming through website coding, game programming, and other methods, even tampering into a little of hacking and cheating in gaming- all under the defense that he needed to know everything in order to understand the more complex creature he could connect to. At 17 he started doing streams and gaming, wanting to try with the whole streamer thing and finding he really quite liked it. Soon he was able to grow his audience and has since become a popular and often sponsored streamer and digital celebrity, and while he enjoys the fame from it he still wished to be the hero he always saw himself becoming. He graduated with honors from high school despite a somewhat spotty attendance, never handing in work late as he was determined to prove he could be someone worth watching. Despite taking a few summer courses to try and see if he could truly use his powers in the field, and being well received for his quick thinking and hard work, his hesitation and lack of confidence ended up making him turn instead to his online life where he continued to make a career out of his influence- twitter, twitch, instagram, the works. But upon pushing from friends and family he finally decided to try and get into a hero program, and being someone who only wants a challenge he set his sights high- Schuyler University. In preparation for applying he applied to an internship and tried to make himself noticeable, his dedication clear even if he struggled at points, his main highlight that allowed him to stand out was his ability to connect to and mess with villains by slowing them as well as being able to retrieve information from unlikely surveillance spots- such as plants.

He applied to Schuyler University as soon as enrollments opened, and waited with baited breath for an answer. It was nothing short of a miracle when he received an acceptance letter.
