This is one of the most beautiful pictures I've seen in a long time... Nothing is more wonderful than to see an image like this and get to think for a tiny moment in time that life is kinda okay......for once. Just love it...the baby is perfect...the smile on mom is wonderful...the side view is great ...the lighting is awesome... just great work.

I'm intrigued by this lovely image - would you be kind enough to shed light (if you parden the pun) on what's going on in the background? Is there some kind of textured backdrop (a curtain or something) that is mostly blown out? I can't decide whether it adds to hte image or distracts! I think my personal preference would err on the latter. Favourite thing, apart from the awesome look on the babies face of course, I seriously love the lighting on mum's face. Subtle, but without it there would be a lack of depth and connecion in the image I think.

It made me laugh that Mom is looking at the baby, but Baby knows where the camera is.
I had a dance teacher who had a sixth sense about a camera pointed at her and would be the only one in the scene looking at the camera and smiling.
