The photo was taken by Linda Huber who gave me permission to draw it. Here is the reference link. [link] This one taught me how to draw hair, where i had to adjust on how to draw it. It probably took 14 hours on normal typing paper.Related content

u always use normal typing paper?
i never really liked it... but man, the final result looks way more smooth than the weird annoying paper i use thats supposed to be good for pencil...
ur super good at doing hair...really, i feel jealousness eating me right now hehe

I used to use typing paper, but now art paper. Bristol and Arches makes good ones. I saw you DA site on Artpapa and I am on there as well-the name is scott_c, nice to meet you

This is an awesome sketch Scott.
I am going to be sketing a cat very soon. This would be a great benchmark to set for myself.
Very well done. You shouldn't do such amazing sketches on normal typing paper thou. Well, I guess you could. But something like this should be framed...

i belive you can do it too. Just continue building patience for it. Try drawing more pictures that contain lotsa hair and you will get better with each onel
