I was walking around a city park and saw a homeless man sitting on a bench. He looked hopeless, as if this was just another day in his life. I decided to make it black and white to show the dark, colorless side of it. I hope that this photograph conveys the same emotion that I felt when seeing this elderly man on a park bench.
