New Kaiju I thought I should have, seeing as I live in Wisconsin. Badgers are badass.

Eyes aren't normally red. They are normally a light brown. He's just pissed off right now, so they turned red. Still trying to figure out a spot for him.

I approve of this badger. Natural scrappers that translate really well to the monster genre, and the burrowing niche is definitely a plus. Looking forward to more of Hundun.

Makes sense to me, since in Monster Hunter some monsters develope red eyes when entering a rage as a result of blood flow increasing to extremities like the head and limbs. Seeing red is also a classic badger trait that I remember straight from my childhood . I can't remember if any of your kaiju were real burrowers so he naturally fills that niche and generally any heavily wooded and semi mountainous area will suffice. He's the probably the one kaiju Weeq does not actively troll as the frothing hairball would be utterly relentless toward any threat, making any engagement with Hundun a matter of life and death in the event he can't reach a significant body of water in time.

I read Redwall a lot when I was younger, the badgers had that Bloodrage and all. I thought it fit. He's definitely going to fit that niche well, nice big claws and big arms.
