This was the last straw. Jayne had done everything right, made no mistakes this time, and had even looked good while doing it, she thought. "Still it wasn't good enough," she muttered at her reflection in the mirror."Well, no more!"
She grabbed the cold steel soap dish and threw it, hard, at the mirror. It shattered surprisingly easily.
Then she gasped. Taped to the back of one of the shards was a note.
"I'm so proud of you. --Mom"
