New ink!I got this tattooed today. I’ve wanted a tattoo like this ever since I was thirteen years old. It’s supposed to look like a Steampunk augmentation. The tattoo artist stuck very closely to my original design, which was inspired by the inner mechanism of my pocket watch.
The tattoo symbolises the fact that, even when I am wounded on the surface, inside, I’m all machine. I won’t bleed. I am relentless, my resolve is cast in iron and I can repair myself when I am broken.
In the words of Fear Factory; “Can’t take me apart.”

Usually I absolutely hate the idea of scarring your body with ink, in the fear that you'll still have them when your old with saggy skin. But oh my gosh I don't know why but I love this xD I love the meaning and the design is amazing

I've wanted a biomech piece for YEARS so a lot of thought went into it, which means I'm totally prepared to still have it when I'm old.

Yeah, I agree entirely. These tattoos are gonna be on my skin for the rest of my life, so it's important that they mean something so I don't end up regretting them
