My entry for CoreMembers ' Thursday Prompt: Picture Perfect
Punta Santiago has never really been known for having the prettiest beachfront but it was a fisherman's paradise. Gentle breezes, blue skies, the sounds of waves and giggling tourists on the pier meant that even if you didn't catch much that day, you would at least have a good time. It's a desire to relive those moments that drives people to return to this place even after what happened during Maria and even with how things are now, that "return to normality" can be a thing...albeit, one that will require a lot of work.

My neighbors sometimes join it & usually take the opportunity to go fishing. You can find all sorts of critters out there so there's a ton of booths selling seafood nearby.

This is an old photo so it kinda doesn't look like that these days; they're slowly fixing up & cleaning the surrounding areas to make sure that people can return safely there.
