Syen and Ven are Katalyvos' fraternal twin sons. Though they are aged 17 in human years, due to them being more Darasune than human, they mature later than than humans, being around the same stage as that of a human fourteen-year old boy.

Syen and Ven appear shortly after Luther arrives in the Darasune capital. After the battle with Katalyvos leaves the Darasunes' city, it's not known what became of the two boys. Later on in Broken Chains, as grown men, they reappear and serve as two of the antagonists of the story's first arc.
