Soooo my thoughts about latest episode?
Spike got epic Yes it was predictable how the dynamic between him and Ember will
go the second she was introduced, but it was really fun episode nonetheless. Also many people seem to complain about
how Spike is handled in general - I don't count among those though - so I guess he did got some really
nice episode to shine through. Also I really dig the designs of Dragon Lord and his daugher, quite cool,
no to mention, yay for some more dragons and possible developement of that angle. Didn't expect Garble's
return, personally I don't really care for his character, but it was fun to see him getting his tail
handed to him through the episode. When it comes to Spike-centric episodes I am usually rather neutral ( aside from "Inspiration Manifestation" which I really like ), but I admit I had really good time seeing this more adventure driven approach
I will actually risk and say that it was best episode for this season so far - certainly one of the best
for Spike in show's history

Plus Twilight going all crazy on how she can contribute to Equestria's knowledge about dragons was
a really nice bonus in itself. Also Twilight and Rarity appearantly are BEASTS at sneaking, always being ahead
of everyone else, I mean wow, appearing outta nowhere, that's some Batman stuff So overall props
for Spike as the lead here, and Twi and Rarity for fun support element. Also as mentioned before
Dragon Lord's design is really darn cool
