For some reason, when I heard about the synopis for episode 3 "Flurry of Emotions" this idea came up to my mind, and decided two work on it just before watching the episode itself - hope you like it
So, what about the actual episode 3?
Oh season 7, a Twilight-centered episode second week in a row? I already like you more than season 6, keep spoiling me
Truth to be told it was fun sweet and cute little episode, I enjyoed the dynamic between Twilight and Flurry, with Spike being partially voice of reason but also letting his fantasies go wild every now and then, the bits with Armor and Cadence were nice as well. Overall I don't really feel like I need to say much, somehow it was one of those episodes that simply make you feel better overall, and I couldn't help but smile at the antics of self-proclaimed Best-Aunt-Ever her trusty dragon side-kick and one little crazy-powered filly. Good times.

Overall, my favorite episode in the season and the show overall. To heck with the Flurry Heart haters. They wouldn't know adorablness if it hit them.

It is one of the episodes I enjoyed quite a lot, especially since even before the synopis to it was published I was hoping for Twilight/Flurry Heart episode, so it was really pleasant surprise to receive one

I won't mind that. It's doubtful we will ever see older Flurry - which is a shame since I'm curious what her personality would actually be once when she gets older. Either way any Flurry antics would be entertaining to watch.

Well, DHX did various things that were unusual for that kind of show up to that point - it's why it got so successful, but with two seasons to go it's very unlikely to happen either way.

CMC grew little taller over time

Yeah. That was an issue I had with Forever Filly. Sweetie Belle was still the same age. So she shouldn't have been arguing in "being older", when she wasn't.

I don't think I saw a change in size for the CMC during that episode, so I wouldn't know.

I actually did, it's not drastic but somehow noticable. Even checking on some episode followups seem to confirm that too.

Huh. I don't they aged up, though. Unless I missed something. Cause Hard to Say Anything basically just threw all that character development out the window.

Nah, I didn't hate it that strong. It's more like I wasn't that much impressed with it and kind of bored at certain points of the story. if I was talking about episode I downright hate - and that's only episode I can say that - would be "Slice of Life" . Although "No Second Prances" would be close second in my most disliked episodes rank.

I actually have come to despise Starlight and Trixie as friends because of Joeycrick 's fan fiction where Sunset never left Equestria, and Sunset and Trixie knew each other since Magic Kindergarten.

Well, I admit really really reaaally don't like "the new and supposedly redeemed" Trixie. Her persnality fits perfectly for minor villain, and with that role taken away, her character reminds me just too much of Rainbow Dash from season 1 and 2 - and I really didn't like Dash back then.
Not to mention, the execution of "No Second Prances" left much to desire. Which to me was a total bummer since I remember how hyped I was for that episode - only to see for it to turn from promising to cringe-worthy, minute-by-minute.

Funny you mention that, because in the crossover my friend is doing, he made Trixie the complete opposite of how she is in the show. She's a lot more open to help and friendship, but still has a minor ego on her, that thankfully doesn't ruin the potential friendships she has with the ponies.
Also, her backstory consists of Sunset being a bully to her back in Magic Kindergarten.

Yeah. She's much more entertaining in his story than how she is in the show right now. And her relationship with Sunset makes a LOT more sense in his story than her relationship with Starlight in the show.

I can think of at least 2 previous chapters with plots and similar lessons but it is the first time that the problem is solved as it should be, standing firm and reprimanding the small threat, and it's good to see that Spike can shine without the need for a whole kingdom to be in danger.

Best way to describe the episode! I myself had very little analysis in my review (I was too tired for that kind of stuff) but in reflection, not much to be said. Just an adorable feel good episode. When I saw the design for Flurry, like others I wasn't impressed, but when she actually appeared last season, I found her to be a charming character. Much more after this episode, such an adorable baby!
SoC: A Flurry Of EmotionsIt's Saturday and that always means several things:
1-A night of drinking.
2-Yard Work
3-First day off of the week for many people (sadly not me).
4-Garage/yard sales.
5-People going on dates.
7-Various sporting events (again, sadly not me).
8-Kids playing in the neighborhood (or if they live in certain major U.S. cities, dodging bullets).

indeed, I think DHX did pretty nice job on giving her some personality, as far as baby characters go, so it doesn't feel too tacked on just to advertise new toys
