Yup! Is Chains Chomp from Super Mario Bros, it's a crossover between a character from Sengoku Basara and SMB, but I changed the chained ball that he usually wears for Chains Chomp

This is when you say that things can't get any worse... ... and then Kanbei trips on a rock.

And then a thunderbolt strikes him, and the forest around him is set on fire.

And then a bird that flew away from the fire shits on him

And then a skunk that runs away from the fire passes before him while shitting (yes, I know that the self defense of skunks isn't shit, but hey its for the sake of comedy) on him causing him to catch fire. Then he trips, falla and rolla downwind on a rocky path that lead to a swamp, while on fire and chased by his ball.
(Boy aren't we mean or what?)

But then the piranhas stop because they suffer from diahrea so leave hm half eaten, half burmed and stil running away from his iron chainball through a burning forest while a bunch of bisons, chased by hungry lionesses, run behind him.

And that was when a nearby volcano exploded spitting lava everywhere, and suddenly a T-Rex emerged from nowhere, angry and hungry because he hadn't eaten anything for thousand of years
(Yeah, there were T-Rex in the Sengoku Period. Look in History records, it has to mention it somewhere *ahem*)

Of course it does, though the records mention at least two of them.
So to recap, Kanbei is half eaten, half burned with not so few injuries from falls and trips, coverd in filth and mud while running for his life from a living chain ball attached to him, a mad pack of bisons chased by lions is running towards him and two T-rexs attack them all, all this in the middle of a burning forest that is being flooded by lava and constantly hit by lightning. Not to mention that toxic rain starts to fall, showing that a meteor is about to his the place.
(May I propose either this [link] or this [link] or maybe this [link] for the musicall part. Depends on the mood really.)
We must also mention that there is piss in his mouth, wood between his teeth, rocks in his ass and his clothes are ragged and make his running difficult.
Oh, and Kakofonix is running in front of him, while singing.

(I think Dies Irae is sounding in his mind, but anyone seeing him would hear Benny Hill's theme. It's the most fitting soundtrack XD)
Kanbei ran with all his strenght but the animals were catching up. The lava, fire and lightnings were everywhere, so he was running blindly through the remnants of the forest. Then he saw it: a dead end. The path lead to a cliff. A really high one. He looked back: he couldn't stop running, if he'd stop, he would be stomped and then eaten. Meanwhile Kakofonix, who was really concentrated on his mu- well, I can't call that music. Let's say random and irritating sounds. He was that concentrated that he didn't notice the end of the path and fell irretrievably down the cliff. He yelled a girly scream that lasted for a minute, then ceased.
"Now, how high is the cliff?!" - Thought Kanbei.
He stopped at the edge. Chomp was about to tackle him, but he dodged at last second. He glanced down the cliff: he couldn't even see the bottom.
"If I fall, I won't make it" He looked around but there was nowhere to run. The animals were on frenzy and were running straight to him.
Then he heard a sound, and looked at his feets. The ground was cracking due to the weight of all the beasts, the ball, and himself. Suddenly the ground disintegrated under their feet, legs and chains.
"Well, DAMN" Thought bitterly Kanbei, as he was falling amongst rocks, streams of lava, bisons, lions, and dinosaurs. One of the T-Rex managed to catch a bison while falling.
...
.....
Then he woke up. He looked around, and saw a smelly prison cell. He was on his own.
"Wha- was it just a nightmare?" He glanced at his chain ball. It was a regular iron ball, huge and heavy, but it looked as always.
"Phew..." sighed, and lied down again. "I finally can have some rest" said, and closed his eyes.
Then the ball grinned

Oh, epilogue.
The next day he gained a fellow prisoner with a lyre and a girly haircut.
