Description
Amongst the pallaggan telekinetic or other unusual abilities in individuals are perceived by their people as signs that one has a strong connection to the spirits. In cases where a pallaggan displays such abilities they are taken to a nearby temple where they shall be tested by the religious hermits that dwell within.
If the hermits feel that an individuals abilities are strong enough they will be taken in for a few years. Either to undergo training to sharpen and enhance their growing powers....or if the hermits feel it necessary, to suppress them.
To have such a gifted individual born into a clan is seen as a great honor. And the parents of such an individual will be swamped with letters from members of other clans hoping to arrange a marriage between their children once they have come of age.
