I recently just went through something like this, and sometimes it's though to get out of. But you know, you have an awesome talent that a lot of people would just die to have. :3
If you want, you can just keep drawing what you call "mediocre" and draw it away (if ya get what I mean ) until some accident pops up and gets you all thrilled (you know, those random mistakes that turn out so awesomely good). I'm sure you'll find your way out. :3

I get that thing, usually when inspiration left on a vacation to Barbados or Hawaii or something interesting like that. Too bad it doesn't at least send an email or something. But I just busy myself with something else until it decides to return.

The guy's pretty cool (in the picture). But you probably just doodled him for funsies and boredom. ^_^ Still really good. I really admire your talent.

You just need to wait for that little spark of insipiration.
It'll come to you out of the blue and you'll be so passionate about that you won't want to stop drawing. Also, it's more than possible that it will start more sparks and you'll continue to create beautiful works as you've always done.

Random doodles lead to ideas a lot of times, so just keep at it. Draw what you feel and you can't go wrong.

Awh sashas... you know we love your art! I get in the slumps all the time and it's like I have to force myself to draw something. Like all these stupid gaia commissions. But really, you should try and listen to your fans every once and a while, you're a really big inspiration for us *speaking from personal experience* and we never want you to give up or be depressed. Trust me, depression is the worst thing in the world; I suffered from it just about every day and am still paying for my actions. >_< We love ya, sashas!
