mm. i like the eagles. and i like that song. it makes me think of the little irish girl singing it in 'in america' so that's why it's the title. it has nothing to do w/ the pic, so don't ask. i hate you if you do.the pic itself i drew a few weeks ago, then inked and flat colored in like ... one day. and then it just SAT. for quite a while and i took the last several days to shade it up. i was considering more'n one step of shading then decided to leave it simple cause the chibis are all pretty simple..... and my computer was not liking the filesize of the photoshop document at ALL.
anyhoo, hopefully everyone knows perg is mine, but the others belong to rl friends of mine, and they've been around since highschool. they're actually originally fuzzy (arte being a lemur, chiana a mouse, perg an echidna (hellsyea sonic-style) and kalea a cat) the characters went to highschool together as well, and sometimes they live in a large redrose/hillhouse-esque manor where they have misadventures and question the meaning of words in romance novels. <3
if you want info on the chars feel free to ask. i will answer questions along those lines.
kalea is jessica's, chiana is becca's, and artemesia is jamie's (also i'm not sure if she's a naiad, or a nereid, so i went w/ naiad. i'm a dork) perg is of course, mine. tiny bondage clothes are HARD TO DRAW.
ALSO. i'm actually pretty proud of this, so you +faving non commentors. i hatecha.

or rather i should ask seeing as how is obvious that a vampire has vampire-like powers (yes.. i realise i'm an idiot) .... what kinda snazzy powers do they have? and.. just wondering.. how do 4 super different beings like that end up going to school together?

uhh. as far as i've figured they all have the whole regeneration thing down, part of being immortal i'd 'spect.... arte has some extreme power to manipulate water to do whatever she wants and most likely some ability to speak to aquatic life that is rendered moot by the fact she's afraid of fish.... - chiana has ancient vampire blood, none of that new crappy raver vampire crap. the good old fashioned you drink their blood and they have to drink yours to become a vamp. she can do things like turn into a fluffy puppy or a bunch of bats, strength, mind control, flight, phasing through stuff, all that good stuff. - perg buhh. perg has a lot of powers. so does kalea. i can't list them all. just know they're both very powerful, one's just dark and one's light. having said that it doesn't mean kalea uses her power only for good and perg uses hers only for evil.
as i recall they all ended up being raised around mortals for some reason or another (in perg's case her real mother (Gen) put her in a mortal woman who then died and she was raised by the husband until she was a teen) . they each figured they were the only one like themselves (though perg knew an angel when she was younger) around and then all ended up in the same highschool and noticed eachother and formed a group. and probably caused havoc unto the unsuspecting mortals. sometimes there is talk of them living together in a large hillhouse/redrose-esque manor.

Heh... i have full faith in your water drawing skills (i actually kinda assumed it was water anyway).. and as it's a cute chibby pic 'wispy blueness' as i so eloquently put it is completely acceptable as water. We shall call it 'chibbified water' and sell it in little chibby bottles. Yes.. i do believe that's the only right thing to do.

There's something extremely striking about all four of these.
They all have personality, they are all alive. That separates them from thousands of other chibis out there.
In short, I'm just stunned at how well you can manipulate the poses, the facial expressions and the colours to make the drawings complete.

This turned out really cool and eyecatching. I love the colors. I think Chiana is my fave 'cause she's got that glam 80's eye shadow goin' on. And Perg is so cute. Nothin' like a busty chibi in bondage.

I like this it's really cute! I love the detail and how they all look so different even though they are by the same artist (a lot of artist make their girls look exactly alike just different hair and eyes) so kudos!
