Description Here's my finished, colored image for my first creature design: Poisonops. Influenced by triceratops, scorpion and some more stocky feline/canine leg anatomy. I started coloring this digitally but after 3 days of digital work I started to get headaches, sore eyes and wrist pain so no thanks. Switched to colored pencils instead.

Poisonops:
- Subterranean, coldblooded herbivore that feeds on roots, fungi and mold.
- Has heat vision for navigating the dark, rarely goes above ground due to it's very poor vision in daylight.
- Has a very hard, bony head and the leathery membranes on it's "crown" suck in heat those rare occasions it goes above ground.
- Uses it's bulky, strong claws to dig up roots.
- Has very muscular and bulky legs for navigating caves and climbing.
- Uses the poison tips on it's tail for defense. The tips are flexible and more like bony needles than actual bone spikes so the poisonops doesn't get stuck to it's enemy in narrow spaces.
- Males are dark, bluish grey with striking red stripes. Females don't have stripes.

Mechanical pencils and Polychromos on cheap plate surface paper similar to Bristol Smooth.
