Description
This is my first digital painting, but certainly not my last. I've been wanting to try it for a long time, but never have. I actually started this intending to pixel the whole thing, but then I realized that was crazy, and started in on it as a painting.Just a hint - it's not her own blood that she's washing away ^.^

Lovely! What got my attention in this picture was the harmony betwen the elements. Her body is so thin and fluid, looks very much like the water running behind her. The lighting and colors suggest something very quiet and mistic, a very intimate experience.
I like the fact that the upper part of the image where the waterfall begins is so light and it gets darker on the lower part. It seems as if the water drives her from a lighter to a darker place and her pose suggests the moment when she has to decide if to make another step or not.
Ok, i realise i got carried away, but i like the image a lot. Beautiful work.

Thank you! It took a long time to get the lighting and colors the way I wanted them. The waterfall took a long time too, so I'm glad you like that as well. I just checked out your gallery by the way - you do wonderful work ^.^
