Another day of showing someone my drawings, another day of someone asking why I don't try to make money from them. Remember when hobbies could literally just be hobbies until hustle culture came along and m*rdered our joy? I know this person meant well but so do I when I say I draw by myself, FOR myself. Period.My little drawings are an outlet for my mental health. I believe in “art for art’s sake”; joy, expression and spirit. Don’t feel judged or pressured to be like everybody else. If it makes you happy, you’re doing it right.
