I am extremely lucky and privileged to have grown up surrounded by gorgeous mountains and rainforest, they sparked and will forever continue to fuel my love of all things life. I would like to say however before I go on a little ramble that the land I walk and live on and all those who have Immigrated to Australia in generations past or present walk on stolen land, I encourage you to spend sometime if you have it to explore Australia's past because I feel it is often looked over when talking or thinking about this country though it is so important to understand what happened here and why it still effects so many people. Please listen to the stories of the people who lived them and not the white washed versions that hide the hard truth in pretty words. ANYWAY, if you are still here after that beef paragraph then get ready for some more inelegant words from my brain straight to the page.
Recently I discovered a local National park which I have very quickly fallen in love with!!! Its neglected and unmaintained yet every time I go there I hear the call of an endangered bird or spot something brilliant. In the past 2 years it has brought me unending joy. It feels as if i have discovered a hidden jem of sorts. The drive is the most horrid thing, more pothole then road and the only tracks that are clear are those of someones dirt bike but I can't help but smile when i'm there!!!! However with neglect of national parks comes people dumping their trash, old burnt out campsite littered with piss bottles and all sorts of trash. So that is how they came to be, maybe a ranger maybe a camper who no longer has the energy to care, or maybe they do in a way but still dont act. I think they will remain unnamed maybe a little unheard of too as if they don't really exist. who know we'll see where my brain takes me. Anyway this was a very long public ramble so thanks if you read it all!! I will make their tracker SOON and hopefully get them some gp's so I finalise their design... hope you have a lovely dream today...
