The Bearer was more prepared than any other Souls protagonist, for sure.

Haha, ok.
Yes, it honestly was like hell sometimes. That blue smelter demon run was horrible indeed, especially since there are even more enemies standing around in NG++... There was an additional giant right before the boss door and an additional really annoying wizard in the same room. Gosh, I hated that "anti roll / get heavy" spell so much. Aand the smelter demon was quite a demon as well, haha. I defeated him through poisoning him actually, since he was weak to toxic. Somehow I really struggled to dodge his sword swings. Found Raime and Sir Alonne actually far more easy, even if the statistic says otherwise (not that I didn't struggle with them, but just less).
Haha, well, I think my soul memory was too big for what I was trying to conquer.. Which is kind of stupid since there is no way to lower your soul memory. At least you could equip the Agape ring, but this was added far too late for me of course. Anyway, I heard they returned to the good, old soul level system for DS3 which is fantastic. Β

The Iron Passage is the single most hassling part of the DLC, perhaps maybe the entire game.
There was never a time I tried to kill every single enemy in that area. Those "astrologists" who
cast that excruciating equip load spell are insane. Just found out they're hexers. That's too
intimidating even for Dark Souls. I'm not sure what other enemy uses high level hexes.
I've always hated the Smelter...I'm usually not alone when I fight the fiery bastard, but when I
am, I constantly have mini heart attacks whenever he tries something. Sir Alonne is my favorite
boss in the entire series. It actually took me awhile to get around fighting him since I found him
quite intimidating. I had a piece pending for him, I'll rework it soon.
Glad that DSIII is bringing back more DSI elements this time around. Good to have Miyazaki back.

Yep, those hexers were a bit over the point indeed. Overall I found those "challenge routes" quite unfunny, it was just a hassle to go through corridors filled with all kind of really annoying enemies.
Yes, Smelter was indeed quite intimidating. I was shaking quite heavily when I finally defeated him - Well, it was a quite awesome feeling to defeat him, but I was happy I got that part behind me and surely wouldn't do it a second time. ^^
Sir Alonne was my favorite boss as well honestly. That room, his armor, his sword, his moves and even his boss music (and his story) was just fantastic. I thought about drawing him as well, but... well, I kind of suck at drawing humans I might give it a try nonetheless, since I will never get better there if I never try it.
Indeed

Woooo Hype!
Great work as well, loved the way you've drawn the throne watchers set and the way it flows entwined with the crowns and the item slots!
See you in Lothric.

Yup I didn't notice it on my first take but then I recognized the item slot style links with the estus, aged feather etc. You're welcome mate!Β Β

I just thought... isn't "Lothric" combine of "LOrdran" and "dranglIC"?

I can't help but think (more hope really) that this is Souls inspired (Demon Souls, Dark Souls). It's epic, very well done, and the flow of her garb holding all those spoils is a great idea!
