In this play, I see a mother who has suffered a great deal of pain or loss (the wounds on her back), despite that loss (the wings that have been cut), she still has her power, since her children, either blood or at heart they have wings. Even one of them is reminding you and thanking you for all you have done for them. Making this wounded angel a mother, a survivor, a warrior ...

Sounds like this was inspired by the fig wasp but as a mom who has lost several pregnancies for some reason this is making me bawl right now. When I look at this I see a mother grieving over the 3 little ones she lost but they will always stay with her in her heart. I love how peaceful and content the babies look, I especially love how the 3rd one seems to be comforting the mom and letting her know it's okay, it's no one's fault things didn't go as planned.Β

However the picture and metapthor is awesome. I see little angels, but the "mother" has lost her wings. Apparently she is in pain, seeing these children who have not been born. Enchanting at first, but terrifying once I get it. Great work!

Bees, all bees except one are female. I say bees due to the wings, flowers, and of course the golden "honey" color ^_^.
