I would like to know... what program do you use to create your digital landscapes?

95% of the time it's just photoshop CS4. Once in a while I'll squeeze some Maya in there, and when I'm feeling especially adventurous I may bounce into Painter for a bit.

Maya! Cool. I use 3DMax sometimes, when I'm sketching some illustrations (to recreate and check shadows, lights and depth distances, for example). But I didn't guess you use Maya sometimes for your amazing landscapes.

I have to try that Painter thing. Though I have to say I thought you was mainly using Painter all the time. Because the best brushes works I have seen round here are always made with Painter. It's cool to read you use Photoshop almost all the time instead. That revitalize my faith in Photoshop

Thanks a lot for the explanation Sam!!!

Hey, no problem. I would love to get more into Painter honestly, but I always get frustrated because I don't know the shortcuts and stuff (and I never take time to learn them....) I definitely prefer any photoshop brushes that are more 'aint' like though.
