I saw someone use a neat tool in SAI so I wanted to try it out. Seeing as how I had no artwork to work with, I just whipped this up. I loved it *3*I think the hardest part was his eyes. Goodness, I haven't drawn "anime" style in forevs.

OHAI, said I would comment on this, didn't I? No, but I do really, really like it. This thing with outlining the shadows gives a very special, a bit shiny effect, and works great for this style, and especially with the clothing. The eyes really catch attention (you did great with them, by the way) and I love the way all the colours are different places in the drawing, except for the eyes, which really makes them stand out. But there is some places where you mght wanted to clean a bit up to make it even better, for example are there black spots in the hair, and the necklace has some white lines close to the edge.
Oh, and the face, by the way, it's really good! I like the anime-style together with a bit of shape to the face (around the chin, for example)
Aaaand you did this in one hour. Man, stop being so cool!

I think I did. I know I thought about it. I did look at it when you posted it and really liked it, but then procrastinating happened.
Dots are kind of impossible to sopt unless someone points them out. At least that's my experience. (Especially with pixel-art, there's always dots all over)

But I wanted to, because I really liked it! It's always the best ones I procrastinate on, because I want to leave a proper comment, it's easier to say 'meh, not this one' about the ones that isn't really good.
Pixel-art is kind of evil. It's CRAZY how much one single little pixel can change everything on a sprite!

Yup, watching him ^^ Got a wee bit bored with what he does, though - it's still amazing, but he hasn't changed much, and besides from that, when he focuses on game projects that he has to be able to get an income from, he has to work fast and can not use that much time on every single bit anymore. But I'm fascianted by his work regardless ^^

I would too, but I fully understand that what he does now is not about making some daily deviation-wort pieces every time, but about making a game. And he is really talented and has a very unique style. We'll just wait and see if he one day decides to do something that push him more, if he gets time with all those games he's about to create
