It did! I wasn't really worried or thinking about a light source with this piece. I was just trying to not make it just an outline so I used the slants and curves as kinda a creative solution to filling up the empty space. you're right though! if I used say the bottom right hand corner as a light source and played it up it could look pretty cool i think.

I agree, that sounds like a good idea. It's just a thought to consider. I do like the simplicity and how it's not just an outline, I just wasn't sure if your intent was to give it shadows or not. I know nothing about stencils though haha.
