Lovely, what a beautiful depiction of this design. I really adored the second film, especially due to Rolphe. Pocahontas looked stunning in this gown, you did marvelous displaying that and her graceful posture!

Was this picture based off of that old sequel? I watched it a hell of a long time ago, afraid I don't remember much of it but was it a sequel to the original Pocahontas movie?

Yes its based off the dress from the sequel and yes it follows the original.
It wasn't Disney's greatest sequel but there's a scene with Pocahontas adjusting to 'English' style clothing/living that I enjoyed so that's where this came from.
