Tried coloring my sketch of Supergirl (see uncolored version here: salva-nos.deviantart.com/art/Sβ¦I redid this over and over in several different styles, and wasn't very happy with it. I think it's because I insisted on keeping the sketch lines, which really have to go because in color, it just muddies up the paint. Oh well...I give up! Here's my latest attempt.

Yep, it's a winner! I think the colouring is pretty great myself, they fit exactly with your lines and do justice to the character.

The colouring is simple yet effective. I really like the clouds, how they go from blue to light purple and the various shades in between. It also has a very water colour ish feel to it. In contrast, SG really pops out with those solid colours. I like it.
