The story he told me about this gig was that after he cut his arm (for that black-metal 'let's bleed to death' effect, I suppose) very badly on stage, he had to be taken to the venue manager's place, where he was sat on a kitchen table - much to the horror of the manager's family who were seated around it.

He thought that was hilarious. Always did have an odd sense of humour.
