I think I should note, SakuRedux is my screen name pretty much everywhere else. I have an account on here under that name, but I use it for my doodles. Anyway...

I've wanted to do this for a while. An icon set inspired by the anime/manga "K-ON!!".

It's a 5 icon set, all 1024x1024 PNGs. Each of the icons is emblazoned with the Kanji for the first name of a member of Ho-kago Tea Time. The colours are taken from the characters respective Image Song Singles:

Yui Hirasawa
Mio Akiyama
Ritsu Tainaka
Tsumugi Kotobuki
Azusa Nakano

I'll be honest, the longest part of making these icons was the finishing touches. I had the basic design down, but it felt unfinished. I looked around a bit, and I was suddenly inspired by an icon I saw in my collection somewhere. 20 minutes later, all done.

I'm actually really happy with these, and I'll probably re-use the base for some future stuff. Seem's like it'd be good for glyph based designs.

Anyways, fave/comment if you like, or if you have any pointers. I'm always open to constructive criticism.
