Orihime and Chibi-Usa. The explanation is forthcoming.

God damn...This picture took for freaking ever.

This is kind of a peek into the world that is my head. And into my anime associations.

Some time after it was obvious that Orihime was going to be kidnapped (or maybe it was when Arrancar Orihime was suggested...I don't know) kumogoro_usagi's sig kind of made me think of this. Because she has a Sailor Moon quote in her sig, and I'm a Sailor Moon fangirl first and foremost (I can't give up my first anime. Plus it's beautiful.)

Anyway. I'm going off on tangents again. Again, again, I mean.

Usagi-chan's sig got me thinking about the connection between Sailor Moon and Bleach. Because I felt the need to force one in there. I'm magic like that.

God. I suck at being on topic.

The connection that [I]I[/I] made was that the way Chibi-Usa became Black Lady was kind of similar to what was going on with Orihime. For those of you unfamiliar with Sailor Moon, Chibi-Usa is a cute little girl who the bad guys take advantage of -- not in a pedo pervert way -- and use her self-doubt to turn her into an adult. A very evil adult.

I just thought it would be odd if Orihime's self-doubt and issues were dragged out and that if she were killed in Hueco Mundo, it would be easy for Aizen to manipulate that to turn her into a Hollow and then and Arrancar, just like Wiseman manipulated Chibi-Usa's feelings to take advantage of the wealth of power.

So I've been wanting to draw this for a while.

I also used this for a coloring tutorial requested by ~Dragonzair . I probably should've used a simpler picture, but this was the next drawing I did that I planned on coloring after I told her I'd do it. : )
