Description This was done in the commercial studio at school. I LOVE shooting glassware! It's so pretty! *luffs on it*

Anyways, did it with 4x5 Daylight 100 Film in a view camera. Yep, that be film there. ^^ I scanned it in and got rid of little blemishes from the scanner glass with Photoshop. No colour corrections or photo-altering was done. That is exactly what I shot. Nifty, ne? ^^

This one was, as seen, done with a white background. There was white, black, or the infinity table. The infinity table is a bitch though... so I just didn't bother at this point. xD Maybe next time. lol

I'm thinking this might make a pretty print. <3
Made it a print. ^^

This made the plasma screen at school
This means that it was in the top stuff from my class. ^^

CONGRATS ON THE PLASMA SCREEN!!! As a HIP Alumni, I know how much that means. You go!

LOL.... I did a search for commercial photography and this is the first shot that came up. As soon as I saw it I knew you were from Hallmark (class of 2006 here).

I loved the infinity table myself, though it did give me fits at times. Dick took me out for a calming walk once.

Very nice shot (of course). The circle of light is centered with a really nice gradient fading out. How many times did you polish those glasses and tweak them before you took the shot?

Haha, wow, thanks. It's always good to find alumni!

I never tried the infinity table. I had enough issues with the view camera, I wasn't going to make things anymore complicated then they had to be. x'D

Actually, those glasses came right out of the newspaper that way (I have a glass fetish, so they were clean before I moved to MA for college), and it was sort of a luck shot. I'd tried it hundreds of times before at home, before I knew how to light glass, so I already had an idea as to how I wanted them. So it took me all of fifteen minutes. Never tweaked them once. And seeing as it was film, I'm glad it came out so well!!! LOL But yeah, totally a luck shot.

Thank you.

Very cool, glass can be fun to work with, as long as you have a good set up. I think this one is my favorite.

This is my favorite piece of yours. I really love the shapes it creates and the lighting is very nice. Wonderful job. It actually reminds me of my first glassware shot....

I saw that in my search actually, no idea why I didn't it then. x'D

Thanks so much though! I'm going to ask Dick if I can submit it to my final portfolio or not. I'll still shoot other stuff though.
