I agree, the ''music industry'' keeps on spewing shit out and pollutes music and the only reason why is because it makes them good money! It is one of the prime examples of the effects of capitalism. The people who are actually expressing themselves through the art of music are getting passed out by these ''industries'' that get endorsement off of shitty music shows and make their money off of impressionable 12yr olds. It seems like all tou need to get famous these days is 3 chords, some autotune and a shitty keyboard beat and the ''music industries'' will snatch you up, shoot you into stardom and make a profit out of your fame. All they care about is money!

this is the age of comercialism.the days of individuality(like the 60,70,80s)is dead.all the kids at my school would rather sing down or fly like a g6 then there own songs from ther music types

Yes, I'll like to live the 70s, 80s...
There is some good music, but comercialism sucks!

Fantastic picture.
Music is definitely not dying; instead, music is going through a hard time. As long as the RIAA and the major corporations it consists of have power over the music industry (Industry? Seems so disgusting of a word to think about when discussing something that should be more about creativity.), commercialized hits will have their hold on a large chunk of the population. However, that does not mean music is dying.
Instead, new ways are being found. Music might be shared freely with donations accepted, or you might be able to pay for a physical copy. Songs might be available for free streaming, or other such means of temporary playing, such as internet radio. Music is not dying; the music industry is.
