It's been one hell of a day. Kedron has been spending a great deal of time trying to provide medical care for the horribly burned Ummun, a feral kukuri he purchased once upon a time and escaped from his control. when he found her again she was in terrible condition, still wild and defended by the more aggressive Munda. When the injured kukuri was finally well enough to explore again, she began to follow Kedron to places, far behind, somewhat hidden.
Today, she brought Munda with her. She was trying to be supportive, motherly almost. She approved of this person and was falling in line as a submissive loyal follower in what she perceives as a new loaf, as well as a supportive companion to her brother to invite him into a situation that may be good for them. Her brother.... however, did not see it that way. In his mind his sister was under threat, and it was his job to protect her from this person and his pets. At the indoor skate park he lunged at Kedron. Ummun watched in surprise, not sure what to do.
The Devil's Magpie screeched at the twins. She was still young herself, and her greatest effort to defend her handler and calm the temper of Munda was... not especially effective.
How will this end? Will Kedron lose his head? Will Ummun step in to tell her brother what for? Will Magpie suck it up and kick someone in the face?
