It took its time but it is finally done.
Started the concept during inktober last year, and only got the time to sit and finish it this year.
Thanks to all who join the streams while I was working on this illustration.
I have couple more ideas to explore this word, so that might be the next step for the Skating Giants.

Since both of them are carrying a tanto in the small of their back, and the horned one is holding what looks like the handle of a katana, would this race be something similar to Murderball from the Battle Angel Alita manga?

This is really good and totally stands out from the usual giantness artwork that I see on deviantart. I hope it'll inspire more artists.

"Usual giantess" artwork on deviantart is mostly pure fetish fuel nothing more. Often ugly and bizzare. This...this is an art piece featuring giant cyborgs/androids/something. This piece is not focused on one thing and is pretty neat thanks to that. My first thought seeing exposed "muscle" and what is happening was: Boy they sure do weird sport competitions in the future. creating big ass(heh) androids to race each other.

this looks really sweet, but I had some trouble seeing that the leg goes wayy into the foreground where the crew is working on the skates, it looks like her leg is farther in the background at first, maybe the red wall makes it seem that the exposed flesh of her leg is in a similar distance?
other than that fantastic! maybe the great characters and background made me be too distracted to get that bend in the vision, I love the rendering of the skin!

When you look at this you would think that their height is so unrealistic and impossible because of grabity and the square cube law, but you exposed the leg and lower arm muscles of the horned giant and it leaves room to interpret them as being denser/special/synthetic heavy haulage muscles. It feels more immersive.

Hmmm yeah that is a good point. I dont think the character would look as interesting without the exposed flesh in terms of design, but what you mentioned is really interesting.
