Yes, I had gotten some questionable comments when I first posted this, but I like it. I like drawing the animal side of my favorite cartoon characters at times.

I used a free program I downloaded. I can't remember the name, cause it's on my old laptop, it's a really simple program, but I enjoyed it.

You kinda inspired me to draw the Warners nude. I started with Dot. It's on the safe side.

I'm glad you want to draw them *on the safe side* Some artists go a little overboard with the nudity thing. I like to draw them in their more "animal form" sometimes.

This reminds me of a "chase wraparound" idea I had, and which Federica Giulietti sketched years ago. Ralph is chasing Yakko through a school. Yakko enters a classroom, quickly removes his pants and gloves, then jumps onto the eraser holder by the blackboard, pressing himself face-first into the board, thus becoming invisible right Ralph enters, looks around, and moves on.
The way Federica sketched it was more elaborate, having him kick off the white part of his feet (similar to something Wakko did in a comic book story) and pull off the white part of his face (and his nose) before jumping up against the blackboard. When Ralph leaves, you see just Yakko's eyes and smiling teeth on the blackboard...

I know what you mean about portraying the more animalistic side of the Warners. I think it's somewhat intriguing...don't ask me why.
I love the way you've done his hands and mouth...very delicate. Go you.

Oh yes, new fan indeed. And it would be a definite pleasure if you drew more in this style. I don't know why, but there's something appealing about seeing the Warners portrayed an a more animalistic sense. Particularly Yakko, but that's only cause I wuv him.
It's a shock, too, to see him sans gloves. It's as if they finish a cartoon, isn't it? Disney's really influenced the animation industry.

Thank you so much! When I first posted those drawings, I got mixed reviews. I couldn't quite understand why, but they are animals, aren't they? I also love to draw characters without their gloves. I am going to begin drawing Mickey Mouse too. I am not too happy with the type of Mickeys here on DA...you know, picturing him with guns, knives, and killing Goofy or Donald. I want to bring him back to what his character is all about.

I think the mixed reviews thing stems from the fact that they are anthropomorphicised animals, and thus have human attributes...so fans find it less weird to think of them as attractive and such. It does irk me, however, that so many people see Yakko pantless and immediately think 'sex'!!
Even though, yes, he is a hottie as anthropomorphic unidentified animals go.

Oh thank gosh...I thought you might, like, think me a prude or something...what with my spouting out my holier than thou speech and long words. I can't help it, I love the word 'anthropomorphicised'.

I first entered college with a major in architecture. I was not well-advised because my high school guidance counselor told me that since I like to draw, it would be good for me. But then she added "there's a lot of math though." I was not prepared to do math good enough to be successful in that field, so I left that college and majored in English at another. I started out being a secretary, then supervising the computer labs. I finally got into teaching adult education. I was working on my Master's Degree in Counseling also. I realized how much I loved to teach, so I entered into the PACE program (it's a program which helps you to get your certificate in about 3 years) So I decided to get certified on the 5 - 9th grade level. SO that's how I got to be a teacher! When I was very little, I wanted to be an archeologist believe it or not! I am still interested looking at when scientists did up ancient ruins.

Ah. I'm the opposite. I've wanted to be a teacher ever since I knew what a career was. Except for this one time when I wanted to be a pop star...but that passed.
Hehe.

The Warner Kids don't wear much -AND I don't know WHAT they are: some say they're dogs, but THAT never clicked with me. I say GENERICs. The artist who created them was alarmingly insane and had a nurse in attendance that day. Hence their insanity, hence their catch-phrase "hello nurse !" ...
I did a fanfic where Ralph snapped and KILLED the Warner Kids. Mrs. Worthy slipped in the remains of all 3 -and 9 months later, she gave birth to 2 boys and a girl, who began to display the personalities and even the abilities of the deceased Warner Kids. They also began to remember...

I personally see nothing "sexual" in the way you are potraying him.
I think it is a cute (not to mention original) way of looking at his character - in my art or stories, I never focus on any of their "animal" sides - up until now, I never thought to much about it... Kudos for your originality!

Thanks! I always like to do "what if's" with characters. As people, we do that all the time. It's called finding your roots, so I like when my favorite characters do the same.

I like drawing Yakko without clothes on not in a sexual way, but because I like to draw him as an animal too. Clothes makes him more human.
