oh and what kind of coloring did you use? it kinda looks like pastel but i'm not really sure ^.^

X3 Well, I had been drawing my kitty prior, so in a way yes. But I used myself and a mirror mostly.
These are prisma color pencils and markers blended with the er..blender. The white stripes on his jammys are acrylic!

You should totally try to animate that sequence! i think you already did at least a quarter of the work! and it would totally look wicked

Oh and a random note I learned; For CalArts, they allow you to transfer, but not into their animation department o.o But you can transfer your other credits (art history, etc) probably foundations. Eitherway to make certain, talk to the registrar..

*falls over* geez, thanks. I had planned to see about transfer- but I have also heard SCAD isn't that good for transfers..something about them not being recognized by some special whozzumwhatzits group XD Iono. We'll just see where it goes; I'll definitely look into it once the time comes to actually think about transfering. I mean the odds is still very much in me not getting in XDD, and whether or not any credits will transfer, I'll still go this year.
I'm still very excited about SCAD, though! Me n' Whitney (soakedinbleach) really want to do the sidewalk festival after seeing all of youz guyzes chalk-paint art!

HA! Yeah it'll be great, I'm sure when you do come. From what my sis and says about the animation department here, is that they're okay, but of course, its all up to the student to make the most of it; The best part about scad is the environment, and being around other artists. Its an artist community, and while there ARE other 'better' schools for strictly animation, like the online Animation Mentor, SCAD provides just a great atmosphere, and a whole range of other electives to better enhance your major. Eitherway, I'm sure wherever you go for college, it all depends on the student's dedication to the subject, and that professors can only take you but so far. The animation profs here, I've heard, can be a bit easy on the students (Phil mainly) but again, if you push yourself, you can get some great work out. >w<
