Description
A gift for my father, in my Senior Year of Highschool. He collects lighthouses and naval-related things, so I made this.approx 12x16 stained glass, copper embossing, rope, wood frame.

Stained glass is a ton of fun, but it's also quite painful. My fingertips were shredded and burnt as all hell by the end of it :B
I pretty much hit up the scrap bin for every shade of blue I could XD You can't see it in this image, but the real pale blue/lavender glass in the water has an etching on the underside that looks like lace or frost.

I was wondering when you were going to post this. You made this, what... four years ago this spring? God damn. I remember when you were in the middle of making it but had to go to one of your robotics things in Canada or w/e. You left it out at class and Mrs. Allan and I messed with it from time to time LOL. I always got pissed off when other people poked at it though >__>;
