*phew* A giant 12-character commission for an MMORPG community called Shadow Sanctuary, though the characters are my own designs. This took an absurdly long time; each character was drawn separately and then the whole thing was pieced together. I particularly like the ninja looking chick with the spear, and the knight girl next to her, and the pirate man over on the right side (that one's actually one of my own who will be in my comic someday...he just snuck in...bad pirate!!
) ^_^I've got 2 more of these to do, and one is for Warcraft--if anyone's got screencaps of their characters from that game, send them my way and maybe I can stick them into the picture too. I don't play that game myself, and it saves me having to come up with designs, and will actually *look* like Warcraft if I have reference XD

what inspirations did you have? these characters seem to represent all of the different basic races of the Forgotten Realms franchise...

The commissioner gave me a list of races in the MMO that they played--I want to say Lineage 2 but that might not have been it, I don't remember now. But yeah it's pretty much the standard human, elf, drow, dwarf set. ^_^

Oh wow, this is nice and so....atmospheric? I'm not sure if that's the word I want. It really feels like they're there, waiting for a conflict to begin. I can see a story there too, with all the different characters gathered together. I also really like the way you shade Drow skin- very soft.

I like the drow lady, and the "Child" infront of her that looks happy.
This reminds me of a game i play Suikoden, the graphics are very similar. Anima characters with lush watercolor like backgrounds.
