(PS: Just 'cause I'm rather TNG-ignorant and don't know much about Q and his species... is it true that the Squire of Gothos/Trelane in the TOS episode of the same name was supposed to be a juvenile of this species? I always thought he was a super-fun character and a half!

In the books about the Q Continuum, Trelane is considered a "Q-ling" but the books are sadly, not Canon to the series at all. So its always up in the air. I personally think he's a Q, it just makes so much sense and I loved Q-Squared (The book that confirms him as a Q) a lot!! It inspired a lot of the theories my friend and I made about the Q :3

Q's an *Self proclaimed* omnipotent beings (Proved wrong by Quinn, a philospher Q who was imprisoned in a meteor for wanting to become mortal by the continuum) that are pretty much the next step down from god. They're self proclaimed guardians of the universe and can will anything to their command. Thats the Q in a nut shell XD
