Not only that you are only allowed to download other creators models, but the real DEAL of MMD is through hard work, for instance, like making your own model, and making your own motion data.

MMD is a 3D animation program where users can animate the Vocaloids (and any other model a person has created and you are allowed to download). It's a free program to use and fairly small file. You animate the models by manipulating their bone structure- just like we have bones so do they-. In order to get the models, you can simply search in google MMD models or search on deviant art and you're sure to find them. Just remember to respect the artist's rules on the models.
