Andre is not someone one should get too close to. Most of the times he throws away anyone he do not deem worthy. If they can not entertain him, there is no use of having them around. That being said, it is hard to stay away from him. He has a natural charm and an excellent way with words. It is hard to verbally catch him off guard, despite being alone for a long period of his life, he knows how to talk people up.

■ Background:

Being a mix between a Hulder and Nøkk was not always easy. A lot of humans knew what they were and never really dared to venture to close to the lakes were rumors said they lurked. Andre had a claimed a beautiful, small lake for himself, one with two rather stunning waterfalls. The fight for the territory was difficult, but it was completely worth it. Even if humans were few and far between, he had more luck there than most of the other hulder and nøkk he knew. It probably helped that Andre's human form was rather stunning itself, sitting on a rock in the middle of the waterfalls, playing a hypnotizing melody on his violin, it was easy to see how he got his prey. The whole scene seemed to be taken directly from a fairytale. Though, all fairytales have to end, and his ended when himself fell for a woman he hunted.

They were wed a few months after. Andre could easily say he was not used to the life of a human, but he enjoyed it. It was much more enjoyable than playing violin in a lonely forest all day. However, there was one natural habit that never went away. It took exactly two weeks of marriage before Andre had an affair. One turned to two, two turned to three and before he knew it, he was seeing someone else every day. His wife found out rather quickly. While pregnant with his child, she filed for a divorce. He never got to see his child. He went back to his forest as soon the papers were signed and stayed there for many, many years.

Many years of the same scenery tends to get boring and Andre was getting restless. He needed a new change of pace and a new home. He wanted something small, but still buzzing. That lead him to Indieville.
