Description
Seen in Massapequa Park. This is not only my first sighting, but also my first photo of a bald eagle in the wild (forgive me if it's a little off, but it was very far in distance and my camera doesn't stay still for long). A pair of bald eagles were nesting in an island of a lake/large pond of the park, and they may have eaglets. This makes plenty sense that bald eagles are making a come back, even to Long Island of New York.
