I think they found happiness with one another. Nice work. I like how you kept it clean and didn't make it explicit. The only issue I have is that Asuka looks extremely thin. Other than that, it's clean and well done

I hope the end is different in Rebuild Series. Because I don't want to se another End of Evangelion. Shinji is never happy, dammit.
And why Anno needs to kill everybody? And why make Kaworu gay?! Dammit, so many negative points... This movie really messed me alot.
I'm hoping Rebuild will end in a different way (or, who knows, the manga will have a happier ending).
I just want to see a happy ending.

In a context like this I doubt nudity is inappropriate. That'd be like calling Greek Statues offensive(But they do like kinda weird, lol).
It all depends really, and I doubt anyone in their right mind would view this picture as improper.

This is very will done. I hope they do have a happy ending. the first one made fans go crazy. The end of evangelion made me hate Shinji. He had the power to change the world, but everone dies.

To be fair about Shinji. He is a little bit better in the 2.22. He don't sit around and don't do anything, will does not do that a whole lot. I not understand why the lady's are so in to him. Sir he is a plot of a robot. (I think I answer my on question)

Third Impact was going to happen no matter what, it was inevitable, it was either going to happen at the hands of the Angels or humanity. Originally Seele had planned to let the Living God do it all by herself, but after Eva-01 consumed Zeruel's S2-Organ it gained a power that matched the Living God. This meant that it became the guardian of the Tree of Life after all the Angels were destroyed, which forced Seele to work Third Impact around Eva-01. With the Lance of Longinus (which purpose is to subdue Gods) the MP-Evas crucified Eva-01 with Shinji inside, so really he never stood a chance, he was powerless. It should also be noted that Shinji didn't cause Thrid Impact, the Living God did. It manipulated Shinji into opening himself up, and from there break him by making his worst nightmares come true. This gave it access to the Tree of Life which allowed it to initiate Third Impact and subsequently pre-Instrumentality. It's only then that Shinji can decide whether to accept instrumentality or reject it.
He rejects it, which was the right decision. After going through all that Shinji realized that even though his life was horrible it was still reality, were real happiness could be found. Even though he knew that people would hurt him, he stopped being afraid of it and realized that it was worth it to living amongst real people. He didn't want to live in a nirvana that shuts out all the pain, where his dreams and fantasies could come true, like having sex with his dream-girls everyday. He wanted to see his friends again. And by rejecting instrumentality he gave humanity a second chance at life, and since Asuka had already found herself before she died she was the first to come back.
About the first half of that film where he can't do anything, he's just going through what Asuka went through after she lost the battle to the "mind-rape angel". It's the point when his flaws prove his undoing as he spirals into insanity and depression, the fact that he was mind-raped by his own angel and had lost all dear to him didn't help much either.
So even though Shinji was broken he became a hero in the end. And he's the same in the Rebuild as he is in the original, it's just that the positive character interactions are given a more mellow feeling since it's a film and not a TV-show. The final scene were Shinji saves Rei; that's not an indicator that he will become a more ideal hero or that he and Rei will become a couple, Anno just wanted to give the ending a more dramatic punch. Cause really; the Rebuild is not his attempt at trying to outdo himself, it's just his way to rejoice in his creation and the anime medium.

On the subject of Shinji, I'm honestly really feed up with the whole "controversy" surrounding him. You should never need to "justify" him because that whole hatedom towards him is completely unwarranted. He's a shy teenager, so what? That kind of characterο»Ώ who'sο»Ώ painfully flawed and don't always make the right choices, who is an honest portrayal rather than a stand-in for an ideal. The kind of character who the audience are meant to sympathize with and analyze rather than admire. That kind of character is far more common than you think.
Just visit a European film-festival and you'll find out
