Description This is a great week, because next to all the bones and the almost-wires, I finally found the bulbs! Of course it was another accident, but I really lΓ³ve my accidents
I only wish I had some good anti-aliasing software, tried Gimp but it does not really help. This render took 12 hours in 3680x2760 and it still is horrible, even scaled down Well, at least you get the idea

Thank you very much, Terry Β  Usually (if I do not have only IFS's) I use these settings The DEStop here is forΒ  a 920 x 540 pixels. I render 3 times bigger and save the image in MB3D 1:3 with sharpen 2 or 3. Hope you find this useful

I was just reading your comments, and hope that the anti-aliasing feature inside mandelbulb helps you out! the only other suggestion I can think of would be to render at a much much larger size and then reduce it in gimp/photoshop, but if this size took 12 hours, I don't want to think about how long an even bigger render would take!

it's wonderful all the same, though. the really fine filaments make me think of the weird metal shapes my dad used to bring home from the shop, of molten metal dropped into water.

And also thank you for trying to be helpful You are right, I should render it even bigger and then give Gimp a go. I have taken a look at it and the initial render would take on my pc almost 2 days, and then comes the DoFΒ  of unknown duration and it took the most part of those 12 hours in the original render
