I have been looking through your work and find your composition and imagination to be very good. The problems I see are all technical in nature, and some of that is due to your camera.
The composition, story and pose are excellent here. The biggest problem I see is one of focal range, followed by light and saturation. Remember that light acts as a focus to the eye of the observer. The eye follows the light.
I think you have the artistic part of photography well in hand, and now just need to work on improving the technical side.

Yeah, I'm desperate for something really good, I've been lusting after a nice Digital SLR, but I haven't the funds, sadly. I'm actually hoping to do a course on photography next year so I can get all the technical stuff down.

Your welcome. You will really enjoy a photography class. Another thing to learn is how to do basic post-processing with a program like Photoshop or GIMP. This when you do basic image correction, like dynamic range adjustment, color balance, as well as doing creative things. Do you have Photoshop Elements or Photoshop? PS Elements is pretty cheap, especially if you buy it used. It has the most important basic tools of Photoshop, at a fraction of the cost. Have fun...

Sounds good. Something to keep in mind is that someday it is important to learn Photoshop, at least the basics. I say this because it is universally used in business around the world, in just about any career you can think of, so knowing how to use PS would be an asset.

Hahah, I LOVE this ring, something about the combination of the black and the rose makes it weirdly masculine. And I LOVE my snakebite, I'm sad that I might have to take it out soon if I want work. :<
