I hate my old drawing of Gin, so I wanted to do a new one~I will probably not be able to draw until next week after this, and then I'm thinking about opening commissions for a while.
hope it looks like him, the hair almost killed me...

You should think about giving it a shot, at this point I think being incomplete is the only thing that's preventing it from getting into a certain group.
Besides, taking chances is what makes us artists. If it works, great - if not, we try something else. In the long run we are always learning something new in the process.
If it's digital, put all the new parts on a different layer or save the new stuff under a different name. That way you can preserve the original.

yeah I always try to do backgrounds, on different layers just like you said, but in the end it just looks worse than without... =__=' it destroys the picture. but i totally understand what you mean, I will work on my backgrounds~! I'm just lazy mostly, doing what I'm good at
