Great work! Like you I'm a big fan of the movie, even though it wasn't a huge box office hit, which makes me like it even more. FYI the pre-production posters actually showed either a Mk I, II or V as Joe Sullivan's ride.

Thanx, but I doubt many people would want it. So far selling prints hasn't really worked to well for me.

that's awesome. I was a bit disappointed by that movie but I still loved the style it was in-this deviation captured it perfectly.

Hehe thanx, but I didn't really aim to copy Stargate, should probably post a larger render of thoose planes.

Looks Really nice. I love the detail and the scenery.
Looks like there's a polygon flipped on the tail, you can see the sky through the plane O.o
Other than that, this peice is freakin amazing

Hmm I just rendered the enemy planes and then pasted them into my photomanip. So it's all the way it should be, I probably just gave them a weird shape hehe

Speed is nothing .... composition is everything !
You have sucessfully rendered a pair of what look to be British Supermarine Spitfire Mark 14's in what could be refered to as "painterly style" illustration art.
There's just enough detail in the foreground aircraft to reflect realism, but not so much as to detract from the emotion of the conflict. Also, your choice of background sky is very approppriate..... light vs. dark....... altogether it is
a powerful image in motion.
In summation, SB3R4, keep up the good work!

ps: I'm a big fan of Sky Captain..... your art does it justice !
