Description
The Protagonist of Adonis Hunter and one of the main heroes of twelve and a deutragonist of Aura Guardian as an eight year old child. He was first appeared when the lesser Adonis tries to devour Hitomi he rescued her just in time.Due to the promise he had with Kasumi before her death, he became melancholy and afraid to fell in love again but meeting Hitomi, he soon realized that he need to protect her and keep her safe, as they both vowed to stay together as they are in love as he realise love is his power and strength to move on.
Satoshi is revealed to be the "Son of Sirius" as Human-Sanctus Hybrid, he and Hiroshi became chosen as "Executor" and "Ragnarok" upon their ascension as Sanctus and his sole purpose to returned the YeuYido to Mireu into Celestial Dragon to stop the war and, of course, protect his beloved Hitomi. Due to his strong connection with the Aecons due to his good heart, Hosenka, The Great Avian Eikon of Rainbow appeared to have chosen Satoshi as one of the people for its visits, dropping the Rainbow Feather as it passed by, with Satoshi picking it up. Keeping the wing with him until his adulthood, Satoshi set out to eventually meet and battle Hosenka at the Mount Tensei to achieved the Mark of the Phoenix.

Physical appearance:
Satoshi is typical Asian-Japanese boy whose height in 165 cm (5' 5") shorter than most male charater (often shorter size of Elias' upper body) and relatively small, slender and slimmer muscular to look like a teenager. He has a short soft black hair with tendrils in each of his side of his head frames and also sports an anime antenna hair (アホ毛,ahoge) which always sticks out on the top of his head , making him a Moe character. He also develop a red round eyes, small button nose, and heart-shaped face and fair-skin (which most of his clansmen has fair skin, red eyes and hair which he and Satoko don't) and has a slender body. Satoshi originally long hair but he cut it with his sword and when invokes with powers he made pact with the benevolent Adonis of the Heavenly Fire, Alastair, his hair became flaming red and became longer that reaches to his waist. His sinister glare eyes was belong to the entity called Alastair who resides within Kasumi and later into his possession upon defeating it by resealing the entity. Clothe-wise, he wears a trademark black Victorian trench coat with covered by a full-length, black frock overcoat that surrounds his shoulders and has buck button in X position. His black coat has his two edges from rear and front and has buckles on his right thighs and wearing black boots. Additionally, he wore a black fedora hat with a wide, floppy brim and a pair of circular, heavily tinted, wire-framed with the a large circular red orb called Clear Ball attached to his hat and has a single Rainbow feather that belongs to the great Eikon Bird Hosenka (he got that from his childhood years has kept with him until he reach adulthood as The Mark of The Phoenix) attached on it when he first appeared. That hat was a memento of Kasumi who was given to her from his older brother, Ryoma to restrained her sinister glare until his possession. His second outfit was drastically change; he still has his black fedora, but his clothes are slightly change that resembles Selene from Underworld saga; he wore black tight suit with red brim zipper from his turtleneck to down of his suit underneath his Black trench coat and wears a black boots that matches to his suit.
As a school student, he wore a South Korean School Uniform in consisting in white shirt with grey sleeveless vest with V shape collar with yellow wired brimmed at each of his sleeves and neck collar underneath the Navy Blue school jacket resembles a Japanese School Uniform for boys, wears a light peach trousers and a pair of red and white sneakers. He often carry a blue school bag that can draped around his shoulder.
As a crown prince, Satoshi wore dark blue overcoat Dragon royal garb Hanbok with the markings of a phoenix embroidered in a circle on gonryongpos.
As the new emperor, he wore a royal red overcoat Dragon robe Hanbok called The red goryeongpo. When a king or other member of the royal family wore a gonryongpo, they also wore an crown called ikseongwan (a kind of hat), a jade belt, and Mokhwa shoes. During the winter months, a fabric of red silk was used, and gauze was used during the summer. Red indicated strong vitality.
The belts were also divided into two kinds: jade and crystal. As for the circular, embroidered dragon design of the Mandarin Square, as a king, Satoshi wore an ohjoeryongbo (오조룡보, 五爪龍補)--a dragon with 5 toes— and as the crown prince, he wore a sajoeryongbo (사조룡보, 四爪龍補)--a dragon with 4 toes.
As world ranger, he wore a red vest with yellow zipper line in T shape with open V shap collar neck and white short sleeves with gold shoulder pads with ruby jewel with the Rainbow feather attached on the left side, and matching pants and boots and black elbow pads and gloves with white knuckle pads. When received his Familiar Spirit Faerie Sophie, his black overalls became red. He sports a red headband around his head and his curtain haircut side fringes parted on his face frame, made by Hwangbin for makeover. Satoshi bears a shocking resemblance of his late older brother, Ryoma, in returned resembles his mother, Hanako and considers to be very handsome at his age and very attractive. He also received a Gunblade Sophia as his Amano Murakumo sword merged with Sirius' Eye Slugger change when Plasma spark Stone called him and his friends and his newly met brother, with a large Clear Bell attached with a keychain attached at the end of his gun blade.
As a pony, Satoshi took a form of a small androgynous orange Pegasus with black mane and horse tail which turned into a shining crimson red flame and his large brown eyes into brilliant scarlet red when activate. His cutie mark is a setting sun witha soaring phoenix.
In his Phoenix form, he resembles a red swan whose has crimson feathers on his body and a golden tail as long as a peacock's. His claws and beak are gleaming gold and his eyes are deep blue. The scarlet body feathers glow faintly in darkness, while the golden tail feathers are hot to the touch. It also retained his trademark ahoge antennae hair. Likened to that nature as the license Paramecian and other Phoenixians, Satoshi appeared to be immortal. He periodically died by bursting into flames and was then reborn as baby or retained their current form.
Personality:
As the Adonis Hunter, Satoshi is determined, concentrated, and independent. He's initially cold and detached, distancing himself from his companions, only looking out for himself, and not caring if others get left behind, being concentrated solely on his duties as Adonis Hunter. Although he protected humanity from the Malevolent Adonis, he did not care for them and was only truly concerned with preserving the balance of the world, even willing to sacrifice human lives in order to do so. He was shown to be a nihilist, as he saw little to no meaning in even the most basic of things, this traits annoys Hitomi the most, to the point calling him "hypocrite" for this behavior and Satoshi treats her as a "selfish brat". His perception of failing to protect Kasumi drives him, leading him to lash out at those he believes are responsible for her fate; The Summoners, The Nobles, and as well, Voltrus. While journeying with Hitomi, he is more of a bodyguard than a travelling partner, later became her protector, mentor and her love interest. Taking Hitomi and Hiroshi, whom he had close bond as brother figure, Satoshi becomes more emotionally open; Hwon and Elias serves as a surrogate older sibling and helps him realize the errors in his approach and his mistakes. Satoshi begins to show compassion and trust others and becomes the leader and, to a degree, protector of the other Aura Guardians and his newly reunited twin sister, Satoko, whom he has closed bond with, as they journey to challenge their fate.
Being a battle hardened fighter, Satoshi does not tolerate any of his soldiers who chose to prematurely abandoned the mission and cowards who hightailed from the battlefield and his only solution is to kill them on sight by ordering Travis to kill off the commander who runs away from the battlefield without any consideration of the family of the commander they killed in which later on he felt guilty after that, showing his moral compass. He doesn't take cowardice and disobedience as well but clearly forgives them if they are remorse. He also didn't take it lightly on anyone like Kairi and Ayase for their naive idealistic which he considered stupid outlook and meaningless without the will to act, where he lectured her for her belief after seeing first hand of Shizuki's betrayal and would not hesitantly to kill him. Despite his respect for her since she's Elias' teacher for her dedication to her students, her nosy behaviour sometimes gets on his nerve, scaring her with his harsh, threatening words by slamming the table violently, leading him to lash out when he believes she thought Elias was too busy womanizing to return with Ayane, Shizuko and Bunny, causing her to apologies and became nervous around him, much to the chagrin of Elias, Shin, Shota, Seiji and Goh. When Satoshi kills Shizuki permitted by Elias, he harshly tells her that he had died as he had lived: a spineless coward. Hwangbin noted that he may act that way, he does care for her to spare Ayase the guilt of being responsible for his death. However, upon seeing Ayase comforts a crying Yuri who mourns Ryoma's death with her words of wisdom, Satoshi softens up to Ayase, calling her "seonsaengnim" (in korean means, teacher or "sensei") and genuinely apologies for his earlier behaviour towards her, in which she accepts it with all her heart.
According to Ryoma, Hwangbin and Ayane, Satoshi was a bad liar, unlike Ryoma who was good at lying, due to his honesty heart, similar to Travis. Due to that, Past Ryoma wasn't at all fooled by Satoshi's feeble lies as he knew right away thanks to his teachings with the Lunafreyan prophets (which comically made Soiree rolled his eyes and Satoko only giggles, all three knows that Satoshi was a terrible liar) and he accepted him, Soiree and Satoko immediately. He is quite witty and uses this trait to his advantage to outsmart people. When in an argument with Hitomi, Satoshi held his ground and challenged each of Hitomi's points with a cunning comeback, such as "If you don't need my help, you've could've been killed!" or "You should learn to rely on others and call for help rather than suffering alone" and "if you want to scream, then scream! Scream as if you wanted to live!!". Ryoma and Elias are the only ones are able to outwits him in a comical situation with their dry sense of humour that sends him all embarrassed and flustered to the point he became speechless. From his undying loyalty for his friends and love for Hitomi alone, he is quickly annoyed and disgusted by any other men who would try to flirt with her or insults his friends in any way and looks down on them as well as being both cruel and abusive toward them when he disrespected them and viewed them to be worthless and stupid. After falling in love with Kasumi and later, Hitomi, he has come to terms with those feelings. Even though both of them scorned each other because of their differences and is strained, as she sees him only as a "callous jerk" and he sees her as "annoying spoiled brat", feelings of romantic affection and remorse resurfaced inside of him over time. He felt guilty for causing Kasumi's premature death and keeping his promise to her to protect Hitomi at all cost, those are Kasumi's dying wish. Upon facing her fears of being abandoned, Hitomi collapsed to the ground and repeatedly stabbed herself in the arm until Satoshi stopped her. Then, Hitomi tearfully asked for Satoshi's help, he respond by gave her his Black Fedora on her head and agreed while carry her in his arms to safety. When a crying Hitomi hugging him after defending her, he was caught off-guard that he didn't even respond for a moment but then warmly returned Hitomi hug. While he tends to Hitomi's wounds, the two then get into another heated argument about who was at fault (including Satoshi ignoring Hitomi's orders of leaving her alone), with Satoshi winning the argument by ordering her to rely on others if she needs help, therefore successfully made Hitomi obey. She then thanks to Satoshi for saving her life, to which he, realizing the good deed he has done while noticing her kindness, starts feeling good inside himself. However, he sometimes gets jealous and annoyed with Hwang Bin flirting with Hitomi in which to his dismay that she fell in love with him since he is able to converse with her more direct and friendly. Because of that, he became very protective of her, much to Hitomi's confusion. However, that doesn't stop her to ignore Satoshi and willingly to go with Hwang Bin, fueling more jealously in him of which frustrated him to the point comically grab her to his shoulder and slaps her butt to shut her up, much to her chagrin. When it comes between Kasumi and Hitomi, Satoshi is very much offensive about this and chose not to speak about it. He does have feelings for her but chose not to show it since he lost Kasumi during the war. When Hitomi rejected her feelings about Satoshi as her boyfriend due to the embarrassment over Raidou's twin brothers' teasing her, Satoshi was shocked and upset, lead him to refuses to meet Hitomi to the point of avoiding her as much as possible and leaving her training to Elias, who also seemingly disappointed with her, as he's the only one who understood Satoshi's feelings for her and she hurted his feelings just because he is nothing but a hunter who focuses only of missions. Because of that denied claim, he became stand-offish and indifferent, refusing to let Hitomi come near him, he gently tells her that they should start looking for the others, and for the most part, ignores Hitomi despite she tries to have reasons with him and nervous when asking question from him, but Satoshi saved her from falling into the lava pit. When Hitomi begin to ignoring everyone due to her depression over Envy taking advantage of her isolation from Elias and Satoshi due to her self-loath and wishing the fact that Satoshi should had let her fall into a pit, misinterprets this as their "abandonment", Satoshi felt guilt-ridden, regretting how he treated her before and wishing he had been nicer to her. For the first time in life that he realized that he was in love with her, Satoshi encourages her to be strong before explained why he always there for her which is his top priority to protect her as he had kept his promise to Kasumi to protect her and if he left her unprotected meaning that he will break that promise to her. When Hitomi tried to explained about his misunderstanding about "boyfriend", he softly told her he knows what boyfriend is. When Hitomi admires his "fiery red hair flowing like a soaring phoenix" and being kind, gentle and compassionate who wants to protect those he loved despite being a cold, crude and stoic hunter who cares only about missions whom she at first thought of him, Satoshi was moved by her words and also having his powers back. They safely fly to the top of the mountain, look into each other's eyes and with Satoshi having forgiven her, they share a hug. Satoshi often saw Hitomi's tears and loneliness during their journey. Whenever tears were shed for him, with their gentle scent bringing relief, he felt that he had found his place as a protector above all else, healed the deep loneliness in her soul. This different comfort was based on Kasumi's similar and like-minded spirited approach to life, sharing in Satoshi's own never-give-up attitude as well as her kindness and warmth towards him, which slowly opened him up to a world less lonely. This is opposed to Hitomi's connection to Satoshi, which was based on two distant and lonely souls finding comfort in each other's arms. After getting some advice from Elias that he got from Kasumi's spirit, namely that things aren't always what they seem, Satoshi decides to stick with Hitomi until she finds out for sure how she feels about him. Having realized his feelings for her, they work together to defeat Voltrus and Buraki. After he lost Tsubaki his pet dog who died protect his owner and his older brother Ryoma's sacrifice, he began to open up and both became closed as he comforts Hitomi that she cried since her duty as the holder of the Sacred Jewel of YeuYiDo proved to great for her where he kissed her, thus solidify their feelings. When Hitomi confess her feelings for Satoshi as she was about to supposedly give her jewel to Buraki, Satoshi tearfully embrace her knowing that it would be the last for him lamenting the fact both sisters who destined to die for him. When Mireu revive Hitomi and release her from the fate binds to the jewel, Satoshi was overjoyed with happiness and embracing her. Because his bond with Hitomi, He is fiercely protective of her and refuses to let even a sliver of danger or disrespect fall upon her. After Kasumi's death, Satoshi became a man with a broken psyche, as his feelings for Hitomi is overwhelming to the point it reaches as borderline obsessive with her, reached its peak when he was willing to give up his life and titles just to keep her by his side, as Queen Aura mentioned, in understandably frustrated, that Satoshi "always get into a trouble over a girl" which Satoshi understandably blushed. It seems he knows her was due to her weak minded and frailty of a human. Her love for Satoshi to be reunited was made him the happiest, noted by his family and friends. He was able to quickly mend Hitomi's heart, enabling him to trust others again and so does hers. He quickly changed his goals from completing his mission to protect Hitomi, as pointed out by Hwangbin shortly before Elias joined the party. He soon became beat red in a blush when Hitomi is now a beautiful young lady who sports a very long hair and wear pretty dress he presented to her. His love for her is confirmed that upon returning Hitomi, Elias, Dante, Shizuko, Helena and Pandora to Mystic Land, Satoshi engages Hitomi by giving her his necklace around her neck as she handed hers to him in return saying she'll wait for him and Satoshi gave her his loving eyes and smilingly promised her that he'll return to her. As the portal between Ethelyon and earth open by Dante and Elias, Satoshi is seeing smiling and waving his hand as his way of wishing her good luck after hearing her say "I'll wait for you!". After his enthronement and marries Hitomi, he is seen to be more teasing and light-hearted. Satoshi likes to make Hitomi laugh and smile. He is also a very caring lover as he likes to feed, bathe, and generally pamper his wife. Satoshi's love for her is unconditional and he asks barely nothing of her, yet his love is not inconsequential. Upon marrying her, Satoshi's hatred for luxury contrasted with his need to give his wife the most comfortable and expensive life he could.
Even as a child, he has a distinctive sweet tooth, he has fondness of ice grapes popsicles, like his late older brother, Ryoma. Despite his serious, stoic and hard exterior, Satoshi has some endearing side, he likes cute things, such as the cute animals like cats and bunnies. He has often hid his true feelings and would put up a brave face, as a front so other people did not worry about him. Like his predecessors, Shana, Satoshi has a funny habit of saying "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" whenever asking questions or makes remarks that disturb his original worldview or embarrass him, or simply to avoid talking about something. Satoshi is shown to be highly intelligent as he has gotten a perfect score on every exam without ever having to study and is talented in Physical Education. However, this intelligence initially doesn't apply to his combat, with his preferred method being to just charge in blindly, forcing Elias, Kurei and Hitomi (thanks to her ability to see the unseen and read future events which taken Ryoma by surprised and impressed due to her Lunafreya heritage) to do the strategizing for him. Overtime, he outgrows this style of combat and becomes more careful and strategic about how he approaches things, thanks to Elias and that of his late brother, Ryoma who taught him to think very quickly and remained calm in a fight, enabling him to respond with maximum efficiency and with the smallest likelihood of misjudging circumstances, always calculating and methodical in his approach to the situation at hand, leaving little room for error. Satoshi was shown to be a very strict teacher, constantly criticizing him for his lack of progress and treating every training session like an actual battle. When Hiroshi chose to gave up attempting to learn Occlumency, both Satoshi and Hitomi reprimands him that he wasn't taking his training seriously. Since he is a highly skilled Occlumens, being able to successfully resists extremely accomplished Legilimens Ryoma and Voltrus, but his lessons with Hiroshi were ultimately unsuccessful. Hiroshi was not able to repel most attacks, though it is likely that the personal enmity towards Ryoma and Sinuous as well as the stressful events in his life that year hindered his ability. His success was due to him shutting out his compassion to become the cold-hearted hunter he is, making it easy for him to close his mind. However, due to his close bond with Hiroshi, he sees him like a brother to him, where he stated that to Ryoma that is, able to convince Hiroshi to block his connection to Voltrus, on occasion, by focusing on feelings of love and grief, rather than by using Occlumency. Once Hiroshi starts to show signs of progress, his attitude changes and he begins to compliment his steady increase in strength. Though his friends grumble at his strictness due to his commanding attitude, Kurei, Raidou, Ayane, Tazuki, Ayame, Sujeong, Hwangbin and Satoko highly respects Satoshi and regards him as a true warrior, despite being born as "High Blood".
It is revealed that he is the better cook than his older sister, Amako, as she is better at housework but not her cooking.
Satoshi greatly abhors royals and nobles and those who bathe themselves in luxury; he despises the pompousness of those who treat the lower class as dirt. He can be easily angered and won't hesitate to retaliate if threatened. He rejects these values completely, and even went as far as to say that he feels ashamed of his status as a Royal Bloodline, as he states that to Hwon that he even stated that he wished that he had not been born as one, where he lashed at him for their responsible of torturing Elias and Kurei for interrogation, and ignoring his pleas to spare Yeonwoo. He even refers to the nobles as "smelling worse than dog poop, as they are people rotten to the core".
However, there are few Nobles that share the same thing with Satoshi, such as Hwang Bin (who despise other nobles) and his two cousins, Hwon and Yang Myeong. His anger and hatred towards nobles and royalties are so strong, Satoshi showed side of his murderous anger and had a low tolerance of incompetence and interfering nature where he uses his fire mana to shoots at them to shut them up, as seen he threatened to kill the paranoid Empress Bok Yeong with that anger alone where she ordered him to stop sullied the execution with the song he is familiar with (Hwon and Wool or Yeon Woo are the only one knows that song) causing her send into hypertensive shock to the point of incapable of talking back. His distrust towards Hwon was worsen when Yeonwoo was falsely accused and his plead were fall into a deaf ear to the point threatens him that never show his face in front of Yeonwoo again or he'll kill him, a word Hwon said to her after he punished her when she was Weol and he realized too late.
Upon knowing his heritage as Celestial Phoenixian Ryeo Tribe as a prince since his mother was a princess that abdicated her title to her brother, Hwon's father, Satoshi is almost a new man due to the experiences and emotions he has endured. He has learned to trust others and ask them for help and express his feelings rather than keeping them bottled up. He begins to show compassion toward others. Straying from his cold-hearted personality, he begins to encourage those struggling, implying he unconsciously had given up his emotions, rather than taking them with force. His wish to protect Hitomi and redeemed their clan from hiding remains, and he still shows concern for her former allies. However, thanks to Emperor Hwon's reconsideration of his well being bringing his friends back to his life while disguising as eunuch, maids and even guards, Satoshi was happy to see them despite his worry of their involvement of this event. He started to care for his cousins and treat them well and even forged friendship with them, started to treat them as brothers, even teaching Emperor Hwon to play sticks and the use of modern gadgets Hitomi had and played with Yeon Woo, becomes more emotionally open. Satoshi and Hitomi demonstrate trust and care for one another, Hitomi promising to be by his side, helping Satoshi better maintain his humanity despite his situation. He resents Yoon Dae Myung, Queen Dowager Yoon and Empress Bok Yeong for ruining their lives and the lives of all innocent people who fell victim by their cruelty. Despite being the royal blood, Satoshi does not act like a stereotypical royalty would act, nor does he consider himself to be a noble. He does not look down on the less fortunate nor does he put on airs about his status. He grew sympathetic towards Hwon having lost his brother and his supposed dead wife (which in reality she was banished by the High Queen after Satoko found her when she's about to kill herself). They became closed despite his struggle to fit in as the crown prince, Hwon accepted his uniqueness and his modest lifestyle although those two often quarrel in regard of other factors. Still however, he respect his opinions of not wanting to marry someone else since Satoshi has engaged with Hitomi via exchange necklaces of their Adonis spirits are now as ordinary necklaces as empty shells, since he had no interest of having concubine nor mistresses as he knew some of them are intended to used him. Through that lineage, he also learned the fact Ryoma, Amako and Ryoga are aware of their royal bloodline since they lived longer in that kingdom before moved into Masara Village due to Ryoma's action. Due to Hwon's calm, insightful and compassion nature, Satoshi noted that he reminds him of Ryoma, which in return, Hwon treated him like a brother to him, since both of them lost their brothers during their fights while protecting their brothers (Yang Myung being struck with Spear while protecting Hwon and Ryoma was struck by the Killing Curse while body-shielding Satoshi) and became kindred spirits, thus naming him as his successor.
While Satoshi is usually blunt and cold to most people and is not above expressing his annoyance with even those close to him, he is very spoiling towards those he loves, his family (his mother, sisters, brothers and his half siblings Soiree and Eiko), or towards people he's become fond of. Though usually cold towards people he meets, Satoshi is not above showing respect and behaving courteously towards people he finds interesting. While he usually scoffs at figures in positions, authority and power, he is shown to express respect to authority figures that are competent, cunning and who are willing to help others, unlike Kurei who has strong distaste and rude towards the higher ranks. As the leader of main six and being a crown prince, Satoshi is extremely sharp and wise with an excellent grasp of people's subtleties and relationships. His kind and compassionate personality won't let him ignore trouble around him giving him a lot of hardships. He's also very smart and capable enough to process things without much explanation which impressed even Hwangbin and Kurei considered Satoshi to be the brain's of World Ranger and the most dangerous because he could calmly analyze every situation and come up with an optimal solution, unlike his brother, Klaus, who simply charges into a situation without thinking while also letting his emotions control his actions.
Satoshi deeply loved and admired his two older brothers, Ryoma and Ryoga, and was deeply hurt when he thought Ryoma had done terrible things by murdering the Royal Family, including their benevolent maternal grandfather, Emperor Ju Mong, accepts his fate, and Ryoga's supposed death, left distraught but continues to stay strong while his sister, Yuri grieved by crying all night until she fell asleep. Even though he harshly disowning Ryoma, he still cared for him and felt remorseful for this, even to the point telling him that he was angry at himself for not forgiving his brother until his death. Satoshi comforts her that told her to live proudly, as Ryoga wanted. Ryoga's supposed death was also one of the main motivations for Satoshi to become stronger. Conflicted between seeing his brother or punishing him as Adonis Hunter proved too much for him to handle. However, upon meeting Ryoma after four years later prior to get Hiroshi and his friends to get the Prophecy crystal, Satoshi was paralyzed in fear just by sensing his presence alone, is completely traumatized to discover what kind of person he has became into a emotionless and unsympathetic S Rank criminal of the Organization Atrox Buraki, especially when both Hikari and Hiroshi tried to protect him and Hitomi, whom are his targets, when the latter charged at him (at the thought that Ryoma had betrayed his clan and made Satoshi and his mother, Hanako suffer) but Ryoma easily deflects him and then effortlessly overpowers Hiroshi as Satoshi runs to his aid. Before they can make a decision they are interrupted by Satoko calling out to Satoshi, promptly Hiroshi and Satoshi to used Aura Spheres respectively. Despite their efforts, they were captured, with Satoshi was restrained by his brother, pins him to the wall. However, thanks to the arrival of Lucas and other Aura Guardians, they began fighting them, with Satoshi caught in his Eternal Flame Shakugan with Never-ending Nightmare illusions, taunting him for being weak, but Hitomi saw through Ryoma's illusions, alerted Satoshi of his ambush, dispel the illusions and deflects it, much to his surprise as Hitomi continuously alerts Satoshi of his and Squalus' movements. Ryoma decide to escaped but not without Daiki's death by Beatrix (which actually aims at Kanato but Daiki saw that) as he protects Kanato and Hiroshi (much to Ryoma's anger at Beatrix's foul play). After escaping the Servantus Manor and encountering him again at the Ethelyon School for their final bout, however, he states that he has finally gained the resolve to face him, saying that he had been torn between the him who had to fight and the him who didn't want to. He admitted that he is weak, unable to do anything even with a thought of running away from him unprepared for this. Recalling his past childhood with his family, Satoshi tells his brother that he always admired him and respects him, the reason he wanted to became The Aura Guardian to help humans and Eikons coexists. He then declares that if he chose to fight him and takes Hitomi away from him by giving the Jewel to Buraki, that he'll defeat him and the rest of the Atrox Buraki members even if it means using the Rising Sun Supernova to release Alastair to the world that would cost his life, much to Ryoma's anger and horror who screams at him for going this far. He response he'll do what it takes while fighting him with Satoko also fight alongside with Satoshi, considering this "as a final respects". Ryoma is impressed by the twins' growth, but he still manages to catch Hiroshi in an illusions, torments him for his failures to protect his friends, specifically his adoptive father, Daiki, until the illusions is broken by Hitomi and Elias due to former found another cursed Treasure of Voltrus' soul and destroyed and left. As Voltrus decide to ceases attack, warning Hiroshi for letting his comrade dies instead of him, Satoshi decide to retreat with Satoko and Hitomi, not before she witnessed Ryoma's cry with remorse after Satoshi says farewell to him, where Satoshi begins to blame himself for failing in every way for not facing off against Ryoma. Hiroshi, Hitomi and Satoshi decide to faced Voltrus after a brief talking due to Hiroshi had another soul of Voltrus inside him and Satoshi decide faces his brother again, with Hitomi follows him. By the end of the war and nearing his end, Ryoma and Satoshi faced each other, started with Ryoma's illusions (even scaring Satoshi to the point of crying with his fake "menacing" inner self) and Satoshi told him Kasumi's death and his decision as the Vessel of the Heavenfire Phoenix Alastair is to stop his brother and the Atrox Armies once and for all. Ryoma expresses his disappointment that Satoshi chose to become Adonis Hunter to bear that burden alone, but decide to exonerates him from his contract with Alastair with his own Adonis, Igniz of Hellfire Jackal. When Satoko reveals to Satoshi of Ryoma's intention, the truth of his Top Secret mission and his terminal illness, he became disillusioned and mentally unstable at the thought of that. Angered for not telling the truth, a tearful Satoshi beating him up, begging his brother to live and at the same time, cursing him to die. Due to his undying love for his family, Satoshi refused to kill him, albeit the latter insist that wishes to be killed by him, especially seeing him coughing blood and weakened. With his sword in the air, Satoshi reminds himself that Ryoma is his brother, dropping his sword and weeping furiously, collapsed on the ground exhausted while crying, showing that he chose family over his duty as Aura Guardian, willingly to surrenders to Ryoma to take his eyes and exonerates his contract with Alastair. Ryoma stands up, moving in to began approaching Satoshi and once he reached him, he calms down and embraces Satoshi, apologizes for harming him and asks if he could hold him for a little longer. Satoshi is quickly overwhelmed by unfamiliar feelings, ultimately breaking down into a sobbing fit as he hugs his brother. When Ryoma had died after sacrificing himself protecting Satoshi from the Killing Curse via body-shielding, Satoshi was emotionally numb, suffer from his severe depression and has made him more melancholy. Realized how much Ryoma loves him and his family, Satoshi was unable to control his emotions and began to cry while embracing his brother's corpse, along with his tearful sisters, Satoko and Yuri, to mourn his death. Amako, Hitomi and Elias comforts him, telling him that Ryoma had always talk about him, and had mentioned multiple times how he thought of Satoshi as a brother. Elias also reminded him that he was now the one to carry on Ryoma's legacy. Despite genuinely caring for Ryoma, however, he did not wish to revive him from the dead, believing that to undo his own growth of character, as he made clear to Emperor Yeonsan for his theft of YeuYido jewel was further corrupted. Despite all the loss he has endured, Satoshi is able to accept death and move on from it, something he lectures Yeonsan and Black Dragon Gyuki about whilst rejecting his plans about resurrecting people. He also is able to move on from those who wronged him, as he doesn't appear to have any true malice towards Beatrix for example who was responsible for the loss of his pet dog, Tsubaki and his brother, Ryoma.
When Ryoga and Satoshi were reunited after twelve whole years, Satoshi at first did not recognize him at first, approached him with a skeptical look on his face and even challenged him after hearing he would not let him go fight against Black Dragon Gyuk unprepared. However, he reacted in shock upon realizing the latter's identity. Upon recognised his missing brother, Satoshi quickly embraced Ryoga while crying joyfully after finding out his remaining brother was alive and well. Ryoga thanked Satoshi for surviving the Fourth Auranian War and comforts the latter who told the former about Ryoma's death and asked for permission to joined the World Ranger duty which Satoshi unhesitatingly allowed. When Beelze was about to murder Satoshi and Soiree, Ryoga and his friends, Saya and Naoto, quickly intercepted him and Satoshi was happy to see his brother again even more so after seeing that Ryoga has two Eikons; Terrakion and Raikou. Ryoga has gained an overprotective attitude towards his younger brothers, Satoshi and Soiree, and told him that should them ever need help, he would be there for him, having refused to ever lose another loved one ever again. Ryoga even promised that he will return with him to reunited with his mother and Amako again. This is largely contributed by Ryoga's inability to save Ryoma from death by Killing Curse before the timeskip, a fact that Ryoga still regrets to this very day. This is ironic considering that both Ryoma and Elias had gained a very similar protective-streak after Ryoga's presumed death.
Upon reunited with the resurrected Ryoma (by Emperor Yeonsan using the stolen YeuYido Jewel to corrupt it) and rescues him with Elias along with Soiree after he completing his Mark of the Phoenix and accepts his fear and inner demons, Satoshi was shocked and emotionally tearful to meet him after Elias frees him with his "Alf-Layla-Wa-Layla" eyes to dispel the body control, Satoshi finally meet his brother, with Ryoga, Amako, Satoko and Yuri arrived the scene and both of them burst into tears of joy. When Ryoma asking what happened to their father, Satoshi sadly told him that their father, Sirius, had died while fighting Destra, much to his sadness, but accepts Soiree as a family upon meeting him. After retrieving the jewel and was purified, Satoshi was willingly to forgiving his brother for his deed and accepts his fate, gives an impassioned speech about his love for his brother despite everything he went through. Giving a one last hug and a head bump on crying Satoshi, symbolizing he no longer saw Satoshi as a child, but an equal. He tells Satoshi that he wants no forgiveness and promises that he will love Satoshi, Satoko, Yuri, Ryoga, Amako and their mother, Hanako no matter what he decides to do. As he departed to the afterlife, Satoshi smiles at his brother along with his siblings and all of Ryoma's friends, telling him to rest in peace and watch over them.
Satoshi is known to be ruthless when it comes to handling people who have aroused genuine fury inside of him. He'll go as far as brutal torture and murder without batting an eye if it can be gotten away with, and he use more subtle methods like intimidation and blackmail when those cards are off the table. He do deeply care for his friends, retainers and subordinates, viewing them as something like a family. His rage also affects his powers as well, turning his standard crimson red flame into black-pitched flame that can reduces anything to ashes, causing him out of control, and he had even gained the intention to kill, as shown by his demonic grin and mad cackle. However, he could still control his actions to an extent, as this form was rooted in the darker aspects of his natural instincts, including the desire to live, trample and impose over opposition, and on a metaphysical level, the natural occurrence and manifestation of loss, decline, destruction and death. Ryoma and his partner, Squalus, manage to turned up and declared that he had never seen the hunter so worked up before. The Rogue Guardian stated that he did not want to see his younger brother act out of anger and rage and that it was not good for him, as Satoshi powered down to his normal self.
Satoshi has taken a liking towards Elias and has a strong kinship with him, seeing him as a father figure, the only adult he can trust as he is the first person found him dying and taken him into their hideout to nurse him back to health. This mostly due to his connection with his older brother, Ryoma, whom he loved so much despite the differences between them, as Satoshi is a hero and Ryoma is the traitor in their own right, despite angry at his brother's action to kidnapping him and Hitomi, he understood him more than anyone. He even going so far telling Kreuz that Elias was "like a father to him" and "the only big brother I ever had is Elias. My brother entrusted him to protect me till his last breath as a good friend!".
He even respect his romantic relationship with Shizuko, he has less tolerance with anyone such as Kaoru Shimaki who tried to woo Elias. He dislikes her yandere stalking behaviour and tends to wear on his nerves which prompt him to dragged her away from Elias by her ear or growls at her in a dog behavior manner, making her yeets out of screen and hid behind Shota. Despite his respect for women though, he have reprimands some women, including in Elias' group, for getting too flirtatious with Elias. Having brought up with his single parent and hand-raising his sister, Yuri, Satoshi is very independent and dislike being mistreated, undermined, humiliated, demeaned, or controlled by anyone, especially and specifically from those from incompetent higher ups or someone who is a control freak like Kagome and violent women like Akane, by doing so resulted him angrily growl at her when she tried intimidates him and failed miserably (both women he considered least ideal women as he considered them ugly and annoying). He has a low tolerance for their childish, immature behavior that would go length of abusing their powers to punish them and his only solution he has was completely removing their mouth with "Sound magic", as seen he angrily gagged Kagome's mouth off magically for her constant abuse of "Sit!" command. Ironically, he is childish and immature himself, as he likes to taunt people he hated by simply sticking out his tongue to demoralise them, making them angry as the result. He often do that along with Raidou, Kurei, Hwangbin, Ayane, Travis and Ryu to make fun with their enemies.
By the end of his quest, Satoshi comes around from his self-imposed rigid and emotionless warrior persona, as Ryoma and Sirius, along with all his experiences, help him realize that locking his heart away is how he discarded his happiness.
Satoshi is the devout follower of the Lunafreya teachings and one of the clan member who doesn't fall victim into "Curse of Madness", unlike most of his clan. He never discriminating other tribe, such as Logians who uses technology called Metarica against the law and points out that they also a victim of this war, as seen he defends Rie, Tai and Kei from Walko and Sokelu for mistreating them, even going so far antagonizing them saying "feel free to walk on feet and don't look for us to help" since the latter refuses to mount the bike, since they are still blinding of the teachings, only to forget of one teaching: do not discriminating other people, the things that these two dimwitted racists initially forget. Though being the Adonis Hunter, Satoshi had no problem hunt down anything besides Adonis, such as Vampires, Witches, Werewolves or ghouls or anything night creatures. Satoshi also revealed that he is Phasmaphobia, he has afraid of ghost due to hide and seek gone wrong where he was bothered by the three ghost. He even hated scary games that relates to Jumpscare and even terrified at his brother's false persona of an evil "megalomaniac" villain to the point he comically angry at him for make him scared so much until he "soiled his pants" and cry and nearly switched back his soul with Alastair, which made the resurrected Ryoma felt guilty in return. Of course, Satoshi recently found out of Ryoma's intention of attempt exonerates Alastair from his contract with Satoshi and he was visibly upset with him for not knowing it.
After freeing from his duty as Adonis Hunter and Aura Guardian, All of his former self return and showing his kind side finally liberated from his past. After give speeches and returning Hitomi, Elias and Shizuko to Mystic Land (earth), Satoshi is freed from his duty and now living his life while his twin sister, Satoko is trying to learned to be the princess. As the World ranger, Satoshi became more light-hearted and adventurous but still retained his "Tsundere side". He became kinder and responsive. Like Tsubaki Kusanagi and his late older brother, Ryoma, Satoshi distaste for sacrifice in the name of victory and peace, unlike his unusual nihilism side of him as the Adonis Hunter before. He shared his brother's worldview and understood his sacrifice, when Dimentio tries to persuade Satoshi by saying Ryoma had gladly sacrificed himself to give Gaia short respite from War, but Satoshi disagrees with a vigour, saying Ryoma had wanted to free not just Gaia but all 20 Worlds, not perpetuate its cycle of suffering in knowing Chaos will be reborn. Having viewed the video Ryoma had left for him and his siblings, and certain of his brother and father's will to free 20 worlds, Satoshi has the strength to reject the Temptation to honor Ryoma and Sirius' sacrifice.
Though still unflinchingly shy, polite, soft-spoken, and driven, he is now athletic, cosmopolitan, outspoken, and playful. Satoshi has developed a go-getter attitude, willing to jump head first into danger, but also considers to resolve issues without resorting to violence. He has learned to think and desire for himself. Though still has his temper, such as resorting to hit Kurei and Ryu when this two shown their rude and surly attitude. Since he is relief from his duty, he shown to have a liberate side, more adventurous and happier. Satoshi had an uneasy relationship with Shade Access, his rival turned step-nephew whom had similar personality as he was once an Adonis Hunter, whom he felt cautious and on guard at times but annoyed with his cynical and uncaring attitude for his insults towards his friends but like Tsubaki, Satoshi stood his ground to defend his friends. Though still mourning his brothers, Satoshi found comforts with his reunion with the Past Ryoma who offer comfort and encouragement for his trauma recovery and emotional healing, all for needed this moment of closure. Satoshi was tearfully reunited with Ryoga whom he thought had died, quickly embraced Ryoga while crying joyfully after finding out his remaining brother was alive and well. Ryoga thanked Satoshi for surviving the Fourth Auranian War and comforts the latter who told the former about Ryoma's death and asked for permission to take Ryoma's powers and joined the World Ranger duty which Satoshi unhesitatingly allowed.
Now as the new king by the name Hae Ji Woo and Emperor Taeyang, Satoshi became modest, lively and cheerful, just like Tsubaki, having free from his duty as Adonis Hunter to Ragnarok Sanctus, and enjoy his life as a father to his two daughters on a peaceful journey to reunite with his friends. He became a very wise, kind, caring and understanding towards his eldest daughter, Satomi, given advice and taught her a valuable lesson of having friends and freedom of the world by telling her about his life and even happily watch her goes to Magica school where Elias waits for her along with Aquamarine girl, a Draconian boy, an Aztec girl and a Rimawan girl are waiting for her.
Satoshi has a prankish side, as he considered bonding with his sisters and friends, hitting Hitomi on her head with a finger flick and squeezing Hitomi's nose as punishment for brought up about her jealousy about her sister as well, and with his older siblings through play Racing back to home or playing video games with his two older brothers.
