no real feeling being this picture,I just wanted to try something new with cropping so I took a picture of my self about 1/2 hours ago 12:58pm and as usual I play and play with an image till it looks something bad.Related content

I really love this! I like focus and the composition of your face compared to the background. You're expression is so... I find it hard for words to fit it really. So many different types of emotions could be suggested with that face. Great job.

I love how this has such a soft feel to it, in the sense of the skintone and the blurred background...but has such harsh elements, like the red eyes and the scratches. It's such a nice contrast.

Ok, I could see this a number of ways.. because requiem has a number of interpretations for me. My first reaction is that this was an homage to Requiem for a Dream. In which case, I assumed the manipulations to your face were done to mimic that of a junkie. The far off gaze, dewy fevered skin, dark circled eyes, large pupils and burst blood vessles etc. all suggest this is possibly the case..? But, additionaly, requiem means peace/quiet, or also a service or song for the dead. You could be saying your dead, or feel dead...? That look you have is always with someone, when their walking dead. I think there is an inner requiem that goes on when someone reachs that point. I think that's why one get's that look. The sound of their own personal requiem (whether this be an infinate silence or a personal soundtrack) drowns out everything else. Regardless, your look in that photo was all too familiar, I think that's why it works, and is mildly disturbing even.

anyways, i really like the expression on your face! the eye looks abit overdone, that is, if you were going for 'just crying' look...i especially enjoy the fact that half off your face continues off the page....nice
