In a time before time, the three Golden Goddesses descended from the heavens and created Hyrule. Though all in Hyrule know this, there was another entire world they created. Not in the physical world we thrive in but in a new realm. This realm is where the created beings of Farore could travel to in their slumber. With the thought of the joys of sleep in mind, they cultivated a new world; the Realm of Dreams.

They also wanted this land to be watched over by one who would be its ruler. They also had in mind a greater purpose for the guardian. They did not wish to take away someone from their newly created Hyrule, so they brought forth another being, a woman. They named her Tyria Solaris, the Queen of the Realm of Dreams. Below the ground, there was already built by the Golden Goddesses, a shrine to the Realm of Dreams. Here, Tyria was willingly put into a nearly unbreakable spell of slumber and hidden from others inside a statue of herself. Tyria's mind entered the true realm of the Dream World. She has been at home there ever since.

Tyria became lonely in the castle all on her own. Sure, she did have servants and helpers she had forcefully made by manipulating the time and space of her "dream", but she needed a real mind... being used to adults, she wanted children to be with. She resolved to allow a child or two enter into the True Realm of the Second World, so none of them would be lonely. She chose children who had hard lives in the normal world so she could give them comfort and true parenting when they were in her care. She loved the children like they were her very own.

Unfortunately, not all was well... A man, turned towards the darkness because of lust for power had come upon the Shrine of Dreams. This man was named Ozwin Locke. He sought to free the one called Tyria and take her place in order to rule a whole world his own way. Knowing his intentions, the Goddesses cursed Ozwin and was also put under the spell of slumber. He was forced to remain only in the outskirts of such a land. While in the outskirts, Ozwin changed his last name to Warlock. He figured that he would gain power by building a rivaling city and then lay siege to the Crystal Palace of Tyria. He learned how to manipulate others' minds and fears to fuel his dark cause. He used this manipulation in order to make others fear him and let him overpower them... beginning the first nightmares.

Tyria and Oz have been in the Dream world ever since then. Oz continued to learn how to manipulate the "dream" to create monsters of evil. Tyria continued to love and care for children while learning how to counter the rising nightmares. Tyria remains dominant to this day, keeping Oz in the outskirts... but Oz is persistent in his ways...
